PERAN KEPEMIMPINAN KEPALA TAMAN KANAK-KANAK DALAM MEMOTIVASI GURU UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KUALITAS DI TK BINA TUNAS BANGSA-SURABAYA

Abstract


 


 


The goal of this observation is to answer the focus from the observation: 1) Describing the leadership role of the kindergarten director in giving motivation to the teacher and influence to the graduate’s quality in Bina Tunas Bangsa kindergarten-Surabaya. 2) To describe the effort which is done by kindergarten director to increase the graduate’s quality in Bina Tunas Bangsa kindergarten-Surabaya. This observation used a qualitative method. The data collecting technique that used are interview, observation and documentation. The data sources in this observation are the director and the teachers of Bina Tunas Bangsa kindergarten-Surabaya, and in order to the interview is not subjective, it also did the interview with the first grade teacher in SDN Lidah Wetan II/462-Surabaya. The results from this observation are 1) the kindergarten director in giving motivation to the teachers have a positive influence for the teachers, students and graduate’s quality of Bina Tunas Bangsa kindergarten-Surabaya. They are (a) for the teachers: create a good coordination between the teacher and school director, also the teacher and teacher, increasing the teacher’s knowledge, ability and skill in learning process. (b) for the students: the more of knowledge, ability, skill and variation learning method increase, the graduate’s quality will also increase. If is viewed from the graduate students of Bina Tunas Bangsa kindergarten-Surabaya that accepted in state elementary and some favorite schools, such as Al-Hikmah and Muhammadiyah elementary school. 2) The effort which is done by kindergarten director to increase the graduate’s quality in Bina Tunas Bangsa kindergarten-Surabaya consist of some steps, for instance by giving assignments maximally and that role as a leader, educator, motivator, administrator and supervisor.
