PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN BUILDING KNOWLEDGE ADVENTURE GAME PADA MATA PELAJARAN ILMU BANGUNAN UNTUK SISWA KELAS X TGB SMK NEGERI 1 JENANGAN PONOROGO

Abstract


Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan media pembelajaran Building Knowledge Adventure Game pada mata pelajaran ilmu bangunan kelas X TGB SMKN 1 Jenangan Ponorogo. Latarbelakang penelitian ini adalah kurang maksimalnya pemahaman siswa berdasarkan wawancara dengan guru TGB, serta hasil rekapitulasi angket pra-penelitian kepada siswa yang menunjukkan 84,37% siswa membutuhkan latihan soal guna meningkatkan pemahaman dan 90,62% siswa menyatakan senang apabila belajar disajikan dengan bermain.


Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian pengembangan (Research and Development) (Sugiyono, 2012:297) yang meliputi 6 tahap, yaitu: (1) potensi dan masalah: pengamatan tentang masalah yang timbul pada objek dan subjek sebagai bahan untuk diteliti, (2) pengumpulan data: studi lapangan dan studi literatur perancangan produk, (3) desain produk: peneliti mendesain produk media pembelajaran, (4) validasi desain: validator menguji kelayakan produk, validator dari dosen Jurusan Teknik Sipil FT Unesa dan guru TGB SMKN 1 Jenangan Ponorogo, (5) revisi desain: peneliti merevisi desain produk sesuai saran validator, (6) uji coba produk: uji coba dilakukan kepada kelas X TGB B sebanyak 30 siswa. Desain uji coba menggunakan one-shot case study (Sugiyono, 2010:74)


Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran Building Knowledge Adventure Game sangat layak. Hasil validasi dari aspek tampilan 80,79%, validasi dari aspek materi 93,33% dan validasi soal media pembelajaran 91,92%. Rata-rata validasi media pembelajaran mendapat 88,68%. Hasil pengamatan terhadap keterlaksanaan pembelajaran menggunakan media pembelajaran menunjukkan bahwa pertemuan I dan II terlaksana dengan baik. Hasil uji coba terhadap 30 siswa kelas X TGB B menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar bagi siswa yang tuntas sebesar 83,33%, artinya ketercapaian menggunakan media pembelajaran sangat baik.

This type of research is research development (Research and Development) (Sugiyono, 2012: 297), which includes six stages, namely: (1) the potential and problems: observations about the problems that arise on the object and subject as a material to be studied, (2) data collection : field studies and literature studies product design, (3) the product design: researchers designing products instructional media, (4) validation of the design: validator test the feasibility of the product, the validator of the lecturer of the Department of Civil Engineering FT Unesa and teachers TGB SMKN 1 Jenangan Ponorogo, (5 ) revised design: researchers revise the design of the product based on advice validator, (6) test products: test was carried out to the class X TGB B as many as 30 students. The design of trials using a one-shot case study (Sugiyono, 2010:74).


The results showed that the learning media Building Knowledge Adventure Game is very decent. Results of the validation of aspects of 80.79% display, the validation of the material aspects of 93.33% and validation of learning media about 91.92%. On average validation study media got 88.68%. The observation of the feasibility study using instructional media indicate that the meeting I and II performing well. Results of tests on 30 students of class X TGB B shows that learning outcomes for students who completed at 83.33%, which means using the medium of learning achievement is very good.
