PENERAPAN MEDIA SCRATCH PADA MATERI DIAGRAM MOMEN, DIAGRAM NORMAL, GAYA LINTANG DI KELAS XI SMK NEGERI 3 JOMBANG

Abstract


Mekanika Teknik (Mektek) dan matematika merupakan mata pelajaran yang sangat erat kaitannya. Mektek berkaitan dengan bagaimana merencanakan, menganalisis, menginterpretasi, dan mempresentasikan data, sedangkan matematika adalah ilmu tentang logika mengenai bentuk, susunan, dan besaran, sehingga konsep-konsep matematika dan mekanika saling berhubungan satu sama lain, Misalnya bidang aljabar, analisis, dan geometri). Scratch bertujuan agar siswa dapat belajar logika dan matematika secara menyenangkan, Karena sifat scratch yang hard but fun (sulit tapi menyenangkan) tanpa terasa siswa sudah mempelajari problem solving skills. Selain itu siswa diperkenalkan bagaimana berpikir secara logika. Berdasarkan pengamatan awal di kelas XI TGB SMK Negeri 3 Jombang bahwa, hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran mektek belum memenuhi Kriteria Kelulusan Minimal (KKM) dengan batas kelulusan mata pelajaran mektek yakni sebesar 75 (kurikulum SMKN 3 Jombang). Hasil data wawancara dengan guru bidang studi mektek sebelum penelitian adalah, angka kelulusan siswa dimata pelajaran mektek masih dibawah standar KKM yaitu 68 atau berkisar antara ± 35,29%, proses pembelajaran masih berpusat pada guru (teacher center), serta didukung dengan lemahnya kemampuan siswa dalam menghitung dasar matematika dan memahami substansi matematika yang digunakan dalam mata pelajaran mektek

Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah memperoleh hasil tentang (1) mengetahui penerapan media scratch untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Mektek dan (2) mengetahui respon siswa terhadap media scratch pada mata pelajaran Mektek. Metode  penelitian ini adalah merupakan “Pre-Experimental Design” dengan bentuk One-Shot Case Study. Dikatakan one-Shot Case Study karena terdapat suatu kelompok diberi treatment/perlakuan, dan selanjutnya diobservasi hasilnya, sedangkan teknik tes yang digunakan yaitu berupa tes tulis setelah diberikan teratment mdia scratch.

Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Penerapan media scratch mampu meningkatkan hasil belajar pada pelajaran mektek dengan rata-rata yang diperoleh untuk hasil belajar adalah 75 atau sama dengan nilai KKM, setelah diberikan treatment media scratch ketuntasan klasikal meningkat menjadi 22 orang lulus atau sebanyak 64,71%, sedangkan nilai ketuntasan klasikal sebelum dilakukan treatment media scratch hanya berkisar 12 orang siswa (35,29%).

In addition, students are introduced how to think logically. Based on preliminary observations in class XI TGB SMK Negeri 3 Jombang that student learning outcomes in subjects mektek not meet the Minimum Graduation Criteria (KKM) with a pass mark mektek subjects which amounted to 75 (curriculum SMK 3 Jombang). The results of the interview data with subject teachers mektek before the study is, in the eyes of the student graduation rate is below standard mektek lesson KKM is 68 or ranges between ± 35.29%, the learning process is still centered on the teacher (teacher center), and supported by the weak ability of students in calculating basic math and understand the substance of mathematics used in subjects mektek

The purpose of this study was to obtain the result of (1) determine the application of scratch media to improve student learning outcomes in subjects Mektek and (2) determine students' response to the media on subjects Mektek scratch.This research method is the "Pre-Experimental Design" with a One-Shot Case Study. It said one-Shot Case Study because there is a group given a treatment / treatment, and then observed the results, while the testing techniques are used in the form of a written test after being given teratment mdia scratch.

The results of this study indicate that the adoption of scratch media can improve learning outcomes in subjects with an average mektek obtained for the learning outcomes are equal to the value of 75 or KKM, after being given a classical completeness scratch media treatment increased to 22 people pass or as much as 64.71% , while the value of classical completeness before scratch media treatment of only about 12 students (35.29%).
