PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA LKS (LEMBAR KERJA SISWA) BERBASIS MIND MAPPING MATA PELAJARAN KONSTRUKSI BANGUNAN SMK NEGERI 3 SURABAYA

Abstract


Konstruksi Bangunan merupakan ilmu untuk bekal siswa SMK dengan kemampuan berpikir logis, analitis, serta kemampuan bekerja sama dalam bidang perhitungan struktur bangunan. Tujuan penelitian ini: (1) Mendapatkan media LKS berbasis mind mapping yang layak pada materi Konstruksi Bangunan; (2) Mengetahui respon siswa terhadap media LKS berbasis mind mapping; dan (3)Meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas X TGB 2 SMKN 3 Surabaya setelah menggunakan media LKS.

Metode dalam penelitian ini menggunakan pengembangan LKS berbasis mind mapping pada materi utilitas bangunan mengacu pada model 4D (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate) yang diadaptasi dari model pengembangan 4D Thiagarajan. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X TGB 2 SMKN 3 Surabaya yang berjumlah 34 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan observasi lapangan, validasi media LKS, adanya soal dan lembar kerja, dan angket respon siswa.

Hasil penelitian berdasarkan validasi terbukti sangat layak dengan nilai sebesar 4,21 dari skala penilaian 1-5 dengan persentase 84%. Kompetensi pengetahuan dinilai dari tes tertulis dengan perolehan siswa yang mendapatkan nilai di atas KKM (75) sebanyak 73% dari 30 siswa, sehingga LKS termasuk dalam kategori layak diterapkan. Sedangkan dalam kompetensi keterampilan, siswa yang mendapat nilai di atas 75 sebanyak 100% dari jumlah siswa. Nilai rata-rata respon siswa terhadap LKS mencapai 4,29 dari skala penilaian 1-5 dengan persentase 86%, termasuk kategori layak digunakan dalam  pembelajaran.

Abstract

Building Construction is a science for the stock of vocational students with the ability to think logically, analytically, and the ability to work together in the field of calculation of building structures. The purpose of this research are: (1) To obtain LKS media based on reasonable mind mapping on Building Construction materials; (2) to know the student's response to LKS media based on mind mapping; and (3) Improving student learning outcomes of class X TGB 2 SMKN 3 Surabaya after using LKS media.

The method in this research uses LKS development based on mind mapping on building utility material refers to 4D model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate) adapted from 4D Thiagarajan development model. Subjects in this study are students of class X TGB 2 SMKN 3 Surabaya, amounting to 34 students. Data collection techniques in this study using field observation, LKS media validation, the existence of problems and worksheets, and questionnaires student response.

The results based on the validation proved very feasible with a value of 4.21 from the scale of the assessment 1-5 with the percentage of 84%. Knowledge competence is assessed from written test with the acquisition of students who scored above KKM (75) as many as 73% of 30 students, so that LKS included in the category worthy applied. While in the skill competence, students who score above 75 as much as 100% of the number of students. The average score of students' responses to LKS reached 4.29 from the rating scale 1-5 with the percentage of 86%, including the appropriate category used in the learning.
