PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN STUDENT TEAMS ACHIEVEMENT DIVISION (STAD) MENGGUNAKAN MEDIA FOCUSKY PADA MATA PELAJARAN KONSTRUKSI BANGUNAN GEDUNG DI SMK NEGERI 5 SURABAYA

Abstract


Abstrak

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui: (1) peningkatan pelaksanaan kegiatan mengajar guru; (2) peningkatan kegiatan belajar siswa; dan (3) peningkatan hasil belajar siswa setelah diterapkannya model pembelajaran Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) menggunakan media Focusky pada mata pelajaran konstruksi bangunan gedung kelas XI di SMK Negeri 5 Surabaya.

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang berhenti pada siklus ke 2, karena target peningkatan hasil belajar sebanyak 75% siswa memperoleh nilai lebih dari standar KKM sekolah, yakni ≥ 75 telah tercapai. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 36 siswa kelas XI KGSP-2 SMK Negeri 5 Surabaya tahun ajaran 2018/2019. Instrumen pengambilan data yang digunakan terdiri dari lembar observasi dan lembar tes hasil belajar siswa. Teknik analisa data yang dilakukan meliputi: (1) analisa pengamatan pelaksanaan kegiatan mengajar guru; (2) analisa pengamatan kegiatan belajar siswa; dan (3) analisa hasil belajar siswa.

Hasil analisa data yang dilakukan, menunjukkan bahwa: (1) pelaksanaan kegiatan mengajar guru pada siklus 1 memperoleh skor rata-rata 3,45 dengan kategori cukup baik, setelah dilakukan refleksi dapat meningkat pada siklus 2 sehingga memperoleh skor rata-rata 4,11 dengan kategori baik; (2) kegiatan belajar siswa pada siklus 1 memperoleh skor rata-rata 3,46 dengan kategori cukup aktif, setelah dilakukan refleksi dapat meningkat pada siklus 2 sehingga memperoleh skor rata-rata 3,93 dengan kategori aktif; serta (3) hasil belajar siswa yang tuntas pada siklus 1 memperoleh skor rata-rata 81,00 dengan jumlah siswa yang tuntas sebanyak 20 siswa (55,56%) dengan kategori sedang, kemudian pada siklus 2 terjadi peningkatan sehingga memperoleh skor rata-rata 81,16 dengan jumlah siswa yang tuntas sebanyak 31 siswa (86,11%) dengan kategori sangat tinggi.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out: (1) improvement the implementation of teacher teaching activities; (2) improvement the implementation of student learning activities; and (3) improvement of student learning results after the implementation of the Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) learning model using Focusky media on subjects in class XI building construction at state vocational high school 5 of Surabaya.

This research is a classroom action research that stop in the second cycle, because the target of increasing learning results is 75 % of students get more value than the school minimum completeness criteria standard, is ≥ 75 had been achieved, The subjects of this study was 36 students of class XI KGSP-2 at state vocation high school 5 of Surabaya in the academic year 2018/2019. The research instruments used consisted of observation sheets, and student learning result test sheets. Data analysis techniques carried out include: (1) analysis of observations of the implementation of teacher teaching activities; (2) analysis of observations of student learning activities; and (3) analysis of student learning results.

The results of data analysis showed that: (1) the implementation of teacher teaching activities in cycle 1 obtained an average score of 3,45 with a fairy good category, after reflection can increased in cycle 2 so as to obtained an average scrore of 4,11 with a good category; (2) the learning activities of students in cycle 1 obtained an average score of 3,46 with a moderately active category, after reflection can increase in cycle 2 so as to obtain an average score of 3,93 with active category; and (3) student learning result that was completed in cycle 1 obtained an average score of 81,00 with the total number of students completed as many as 20 students (55,56%) with the medium category, then in cycle 2 there was an increase so that they obtained an average score 81,16 with the number of students completed as many as 31 students (86,11%) with a very high category.
