ABSTRACT 


In Sport, movement analysis is very important to do by an instructor or biomechanical expert for repairing a wrong movement. It is important to keep in mind that every human movement is tied to Physics principles, so is vertical jump test. Up till now the practices in reality, there are many people do vertical jump movement ineffectively from biomechanical side, especially in determining the amount of knee hinge’s angle technique. Therefore, the problem in this research is analyzing the exact amount of knee hinge’s angle toward leg muscle explosive power capacity for vertical jump test. The purpose of this research is to get information and result data of the knee hinge’s angle amount toward leg muscle explosive power capacity for vertical jump test, related to knee hinge’s angle that is used when the students will do vertical jump test for measuring leg muscle explosive power so it can give an advice about the right technique. The method of this research is descriptive analysis research with analysis technique using biomechanical principles and the measurement with the use software dartfish. The result that is obtain from three times tests in each sample gets best result with knee hinge’s angle 105°-115º.
