Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Make a Match Terhadap Penguasaan KosakataBahasa Indonesia Anak Tunarungu



Mastering Indonesian vocabularies is someone’s way to master some of the words which have meaning and can be used to interact or communicate in the form of sounds produced by human sounds production tools. If barries mastering Indonesian vocabularies of deaf children not addressed, it will be have problems when following further learning Indonesian. Deaf children is someone who have a shortage or loss of ability to hear, so that they disturbs their language development and needs special education services in order to achieve a decent life.
This research aims to review about the deaf children’s vocabularies mastering before and after they given intervention by using Make a Match type as cooperative learning model. This research uses pre experimental research. This research needs 10 meetings and 8 times intervention. The research design used is one group pre test and post test design with 6 childrens become research samples. The data collecting methods used are test and observation. The data analysis used is non parametric statistic analysis by using sign test.
Based on the research result with has been analyzed by using sign test, Z count (ZH) is 2,05, Z tabel in the significant of 5% for one tail test (Zt=1,64) and for two tail test (Zt=1,96), it causes Ho be rejected and Ha be accepted (1,64<2,05>1,96). Based on those descriptions, it can be concluded that Make a Match type as cooperative learning model affects the deaf children’s Indonesian vocabularies mastering at first grade of SLB AB Kemala Bhayangkari 2 Gresik.
