Abstract


ABSTRACT
Mild mentally retarded children in SLB Asy-syifa Selong had difficulty in completing the counting value of currency. To help learning was used Money Concept Learning. The purpose of this research was to analyze whether there was influence of learning money concept toward counting skill to mild mentally retarded children in SLB Asy-syifa Selong Lombok Timur or not.
The approach used in the research was quantitative with pre experiment kind. The design used was the one group pre test post test. The data collection methods used test and documentation. The technique of data analysis used was the analysis technique of statistic non parametric with the formula of sign level test.
The research result indicated that the average value of pre test was 41,66 and post test was 90, it meant there was enhancement. After analyzing using sign test (ZH) formula with Z table 5% two sides test, 1,96. Z value obtained in the counting was ZH = 2,05. It could be concluded that “there was significant influence of using money concept learning toward counting skill to mild mentally retarded children in SLB Asy-syifa Selong”, with ZH value = 2,05 > Z table 5% 1,96.
