Abstract


ABSTRACT
Contextual learning as learning which recognizes and shows the natural conditions
of knowledge. Self development is a series of coaching and training activities carried out
by a professional teacher in special educations, in a planned and programmed. The
purpose of this study is to obtain an increase in the ability of self development (wearning
school uniforms). Children through contextual learning in children with intellectual
challenges SLB AKW 2 Surabaya.
The approach of this research is the quantitative data were collected by using
observation and documentation. observation sheet used to obtain data about the ability of
children in self coached, observatiton techniques used for the assessment of the
observations used in the assessment of observation using observation sheets, and techinal
documentation of evidence that the planned activities were really implemented.
Results of the assessment using the Zh (2,20) > Zt (1,96) this shows that there is
influence of contextual learning on the ability of self development in children with
intellectual challenges SLB AKW 2 Surabaya.
