Abstract
Children with autism had language and comunication disorder. One of the comunication distrubance in autism is speaking. The speak impairments in autism children in SLB-AC Dharma Wanita Sidoarjo is difficult to order communication and information who listened. So, this research used telling methods with picture series to increase speking aktivity in autism children.
The purpose of this study presented which increase speaking aktivity with telling methods and picture series in SLB-AC Dharma Wanita Sidoarjo. The study used a type of single-subject research (SSR) with A-B design. The data collection techniques used were observation and documentation. While the data analysis techniques used visual analysis methods, including analysis of the condition and between condition. From the result, in the condition in this study showed that the percentage of stability at baseline condition (A) was 57.14%, the data range was 8-13. While the percentage of stability the intervension was 81.82% with a range of 10-16 stability. While the overlap percentage of data baseline to intervension was 14.29%. The less the percentage of data overlap, the better effect increase speaking aktivity at autism children in SLB-AC Dharma Wanita Sidoarjo.
The result in this research is an increase speaking aktivity of children with autism in SLB- AC Dharma Wanita Sidoarjo.
