OUTDOOR STUDY TERHADAP PEMAHAMAN KONSEP BAGIAN TUMBUHAN BESERTA FUNGSINYA UNTUK ANAK TUNANETRA

Abstract


Based on preliminary study found that children with visual impairment in the ability to understand the concept of plants and their functions in particular parts of the plant are very low. The other side in science teaching about plant parts and their functions are taught without the use of innovative learning model. As a result, students have difficulty in understanding the concept of the plant parts and their functions. Based on the observation, understanding the concept of blind children do not get maximum results. The purpose of this study was to analyze whether there is influence study on understanding the concept of outdoor plant parts and their functions for the visually impaired.
This study tested the outdoor study, this type of research is the pre experimental research design using "one group pre-test post-test design" which is an experiment carried out on a group without using a control group or comparison group. As the study subjects were children with visual impairment in SLB-A Foundation for Blind Children Education (YPAB) Surabaya consisting of 6 children. For the analysis of the data using the sign test.
From the analysis of the data obtained tally 5% critical value for a one sided test (1.62) and the two-sided test (1.96) is the fact that the value of Z obtained dalah count (ZH = 2.05)> Z table 1 , 62 so that the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected. So the results of this research is "no influence exhibited significantly between the study to the understanding of the concept of outdoor plant parts and their functions in SLB-A YPAB Tegal sari Surabaya".
