Abstract
Hearing impairment could prevent language development language matery was the childern’s investment to get good education either formally or informally. Hearing impairment children had hindrace of speech ability in scrutinizing, speaking, reading and writing. Developing speech ability to hearing impairment children especially speacking could be mastered well by training continually. The training could be done by storytelling. Therefore, this research purpose was to observe the influence of Numbered Head Together (NHT) cooperatif learning for hearing impairment for children’s storytelling skill at fifth grade of balongsari state primary school for special needs children.
The mode used in this research was quantitative. The kind of research was pre experiment with “one group, pre-test-post-test design”. The data collection method used test an documentation. The data analysis technique used statistic nonparametric with “sign test” formula. The data analysis result indicated ZH = 2.05 > Z table = 1.96 to significant level 5%. It proved that Ho was refused an Ha was accepted so that it could be concluded that there was significant influence to Numbered Head Together (NHT) cooperatif learning for hearing impairment for children’s storytelling skill at fifth grade of balongsari state primary school for special needs children.
