Abstract
Mild mental retardation child is a child with physical condition, especially in the immature motor coordination. Ability of fine motor owned subsidiary low mild mental retardation. This is evident in the child's motor skills class II mild mental retardation in SDLB C Kemala Bhayangkari 1 Trenggalek is still low, such as holding objects, cutting, sticking, and pinning. By means of model learning center preparation modification mild mental retardation child actively stimulated to engage in learning while playing and give freedom to children to play freely at centers of preparation.
This research had purpose know the influence of model learning center preparation modification to motoric abilitty to mild mental retardation child class II in SDLB C Kemala Bhayangkari 1 Trenggalek. This research used pre experimental research with one group pretest posttest design. Collecting data using the test behavior to evaluation fine motor abilitty to mild mental retardation child before and after the treatment, so it is known whether or not the influence of model learning center preparation modification to fine motor abilitty to mild mental retardation child. Analysis of the data using the formula sign test.
Results of the study showed presence increase in the value of the fine motor abilitty pre test is 47.22 into 83.79 when post-test. Z tables 5% on two-sided test is 1.96. Zh values obtained 2.05, this indicated that the null hypothesis was rejected and the hypothesis was accepted. This means that there was significant use of model learning center preparation modification to fine motor abilitty to mild mental retardation child in SDLB C Kemala Bhayangkari 1 Trenggalek.
