Abstract


ABSTRACT
One of the obstacles in the education of children with visual impairment is their understanding of science
lessons. Their ability is gained from the concrete understanding, in which the sense of sight as the media organ of the
inclusion of information is very limited. This limitation makes understanding science learning becomes less, so the
ability in this lessons still low. The influencing factor was learning process which did not use innovative learning.
This research had purpose to analyze the influence of problem base learning toward science learning result to
children with visual impairment.
The time used in this research was 12 times meeting with 8 times treatment. This research was pre experiment with one
group pre test post test design.
From the result of pre test 43,3 and post test 65,8. Then data has been collection is analizing by using
wilcoxon match pairs test. It could be included that “there was significant influence of problem base learning toward
science learning result to the children with visual impairment” (Zh=2,201 > Zt=1,96, α=5%).
