Abstract


Abstrak

Model quantum learning merupakan model pemercepat belajar dengan memanfaatkan dua teknik pencatatan yakni peta pikiran dan TS (tulis dan susun) sehingga memungkinkan siswa belajar secara optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil belajar, keterlaksanaan pembelajaran, dan respon siswa terhadap proses pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model quantum learning pada standar kompetensi mengoperasikan sistem kendali elektromagnetik di SMK Teknik PAL Surabaya.

Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah quasi eksperimental design dengan rancangan penelitian menggunakan jenis one group pretest-posttest design. Sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan non probability sampling pada siswa kelas XI TOI SMK Teknik PAL Surabaya. Untuk mengetahui pengaruh terhadap hasil belajar siswa maka digunakan teknik analisis data yakni analisis uji-t.

Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) hasil belajar siswa sebelum dan sesudah pembelajaran dengan model quantum leaarning menunjukkan peningkatan rata-rata klasikal sebesar 8,45% dan persentase ketuntasan meningkat 26,67%. (2) hasil keterlaksanaan pembelajaran (aktivitas guru) selama 3 pertemuan pada penilaian sintaks pertama (tumbuhkan) sebesar 83,3% yang dikategorikan sangat baik; sintaks kedua (alami) sebesar 91,6% dikategorikan sangat baik; sintaks ketiga (namai) sebesar 83,3% dikategorikan sangat baik; sintaks keempat (demostrasi) sebesar 91,6% dikategorikan sangat baik; sintaks kelima (ulangi) sebesar 75% dikategorikan baik; dan sintaks keenam (rayakan) sebesar 75% dikategorikan baik. Dan hasil keterlaksanaan pembelajaran (aktivitas siswa) selama 3 pertemuan pada kategori penilaian sangat baik sebanyak 30% dan kategori penilaian baik sebanyak 70%. (3) hasil respon siswa terhadap penerapan model quantum learning pada aspek pertama (quantum learning) sebesar 76,67% yang dikategorikan baik; aspek kedua (lembar kerja siswa) sebesar 76,7% dikategorikan baik; aspek ketiga (handout) sebesar 100% dikategorikan sangat baik; aspek keempat (materi ajar) sebesar 85% dikategorikan sangat baik; dan aspek kelima (latihan soal) sebesar 70% dikategorikan baik.

Abstract

Quantum learning model is the accelerated learning models that used two kind recording techniques , there are mind maps and WC (write and compose) which allows students to learn optimally. This study aims to determine learning outcomes, learning process performance, and students' response to the learning process by using the quantum learning model in the standard of competence of operating electromagnetic control system at SMK Teknik PAL Surabaya.

The method that used in this study is a quasi experimental design with type of study  design one group pretest-posttest design. The samples in this study used non probability sampling to student of class XI TOI at SMK Teknik PAL Surabaya. To determine the effect of student learning outcomes, the data will be analized by used t-test analysis.

The results of the study indicates that: (1) student learning outcomes, before and after learning of the learning quantum models has increased the classical average with a value of 8.45% and increased completeness percentage with a value of 26.67%. (2) the results of learning process performance (teacher activity) during three meetings on the assessment of the first syntax (grow) with a value of 83.3% that categorized as very good, the second syntax (naturally) with a value of 91.6% categorized as very good, the third syntax (name) with a value of 83.3% categorized as very good, the fourth syntax (demonstration) with a value of 91.6% categorized as very good, fifth syntax (repeat) with a value of 75% categorized as good, and the sixth syntax (celebrate) with a value of 75% categorized as good. And the results of learning process performance (student activity) during three meetings on the assessment of category very good with a value 30% and assessment of category good with a value 70%. (3) the results of students' response to the implementation of the quantum learning model in the first aspect (quantum learning) with a value of 76.67% were categorized as good, the second aspect (student worksheet) with a value of 76.7% categorized as good, the third aspect (handout) with a value of 100% categorized as very good, the fourth aspect (teaching materials) with a value of 85% categorized as very good, and the fifth aspect (exercises) with a value of 70% were categorized as good.
