PENGEMBANGAN BUKU AJAR SISWA PROGRAMMABLE LOGIC CONTROLLER BERBASIS PROBLEM BASED LEARNING DI SMK KAL-1 SURABAYA

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuat buku ajar siswa Programmable Logic Controller  berbasis model Problem Based Learning yang layak meliputi validitas, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan pada mata pelajaran Pengembangan Produk Kreatif di SMK KAL-1 Surabaya. Kepraktisan buku ajar siswa ditinjau dari respon siswa dan keterlaksanaan pembelajaran.


Pengembangan buku ajar siswa ini menggunakan model pengembangan 4D yang terdiri dari 4 (empat) tahap, yaitu define, design, develop, dan disseminate. Uji coba buku ajar siswa dilakukan pada siswa Kelas XI TAV SMK KAL-1 Surabaya sebanyak 30 siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu lembar validasi buku ajar siswa, angket respon siswa, instrumen keterlaksanaan pembelajaran, dan tes hasil belajar siswa.


Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan kevalidan buku ajar siswa dinyatakan sangat valid/sangat layak untuk digunakan dengan persentase hasil rating sebesar 87%. Untuk kepraktisan buku ajar siswa ditinjau dari respon siswa dinyatakan sangat praktis dengan persentase hasil rating sebesar 90%. Sedangkan kepraktisan buku ajar siswa ditinjau dari keterlaksanaan pembelajaran dinyatakan sangat praktis dengan persentase hasil rating sebesar 97.5%. Untuk keefektifan buku ajar siswa, rata-rata hasil belajar siswa sebesar 87 dan dinyatakan sangat efektif. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, maka penelitian ini menghasilkan buku ajar siswa yang sangat layak meliputi validitas, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan.

Abstract


This research aims to create a Programmable Logic Controller Student Textbook Based on Problem Based Learning is feasible consist of validity, practicality, and effectiveness on subjects of Creative Product Development in SMK KAL-1 Surabaya. Practicality of student textbook reviewed from response of students and the implementation of learning.


The development od this student textbook used 4D development model that consist of 4 (four) stages. Those are define, design, develop, and disseminate. Student textbook were implemented at 11th grade of TAV at SMK KAL-1 Surabaya with 30 students. The instruments used were validation sheet of student textbook, student response questionnaire, learning implementation instrument, and student learning result test.


The result of research showed that the validity of student textbook was very valid/very feasibility with percentage of rating result is 87%. For the practicality of student textbook in terms of student response was very practical with percentage of rating result is  90%. While the practicality of student textbook viewed from the implementation of learning was very practical with a percentage of rating result is 97.5%. For the effectiveness of student textbook, the mean student learning result reaches 87 and is stated to be very effective. Based on that result, this research produces the feasibility student textbook consist of validity, practicality, and effectiveness.
