Pengembangan Media Pembelajaran Berbasis Komputer Pada Mata Pelajaran Penerapan Sistem Radio dan Televisi Kelas XI TAV Di SMK Negeri 3 Surabaya

Abstrak

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh hasil observasi di SMKN 3 Surabaya bahwa belum adanya media pembelajaran berbasis komputer sehingga siswa kurang mampu memahami materi. Dengan adanya media pembelajaran tersebut diharapkan dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa.

Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan media pembelajaran berbasis komputer yang layak digunakan pada mata pelajaran penerapan sistem radio dan televisi di SMKN 3 Surabaya dengan mengacu pada indikator kevalidan, kepraktisan dan keefektifan.

Penelitian ini menggunakan Research and Development (R&D) yang dikembangkan oleh Sugiyono, yang terdiri atas 7 langkah yaitu : (1) Potensi dan masalah; (2) Pengumpulan data; (3) Desain produk; (4) Validasi produk; (5) Revisi produk; (6) Uji coba produk; (7) Analisis dan pelaporan produk.

Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa : (1) Hasil rating validasi media pembelajaran sebesar 91.7% dengan kategori sangat valid; (2) Hasil rating validasi materi sebesar 78.45% dengan kategori valid; (3) Hasil rating validasi soal sebesar 89.5% dengan kategori sangat valid; (4) Hasil rating angket respon siswa terhadap media pembelajaran sebesar 89.3% dengan kategori sangat baik; (5) Rata-rata hasil belajar akhir siswa setelah menggunakan media pembelajaran adalah 86.5.

Berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran berbasis komputer layak dan baik digunakan di SMKN 3 Surabaya.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the observation result in SMKN 3 Surabaya that there is no computer based learning media so that students are less able to understand the material. With the learning media, it is expected to improve student learning outcomes.

This study aims to produce computer based learning media that are feasible for use on the subjects to the implementing radio and television systems in SMKN 3 Surabaya with reference to indicator of validity, practicality and effectiveness.

This research uses Research and Development (R & D) developed by Sugiyono, which consists of 7 steps, namely: (1) Potentials and problems; (2) Data collection; (3) Product design; (4) Validation of product; (5) Product revisions; (6) Product trial; (7) Product analysis and reporting.

The results showed that : (1) The result of learning media validation rating of 91.7% with very valid category; (2) The result of teaching materials validation rating of 78.45% with valid category; (3) The result of value validation rating of 89.5% with very valid category; (4) The result of the rating form student response against of learning media of 89.3% with very good category; (5) The average of student learning outcome after use this learning media is 86.5.

Based on these results it can be concluded that computer based learning media is feasible and good to be used in SMKN 3 Surabaya.
