Abstrak

 

Penelitian inibertujuan untuk membandingkan hasil balajar siswa menggunakan metode pembelajaran kontekstual (CTL) dengan metode pembelajaran konvensional pada materi rangkaian listrik. Sampel penelitian pembelajaran konvensional diterapkan pada siswa kelas X TAV 1 Sebanyak 35 siswa dan sampel kontekstual ditarpkan pada siswa kelas X TAV 2 sebanyak 35 siswa. Populasi penelitian adalak siswa kelas program diklat keahlian teknik elektronika, kopetensi keahlian teknik audio video SMK negeri 2 surabaya. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi Experimental desaign.Analisis yang digunakan adalah kualitas perangkat pembelajaran dan hasil belajar siswa.

Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan metode pembelajaran konvensional Menghasilkan nilai rata-rata sebesar 78,95sebanyak 26 siswa tuntas belajar dan mencapai standar ketuntasan minimal yaitu sebesar > 80 , sedangkan penerapan metode pembelajaran kontekstual (CTL) meghasilkan nilai rata-rata sebesar 81,89 sebanyak 29 siswa tuntas belajar dan mencapai standar ketuntasan minimal sebesar > 80. Analisis uji hipotesis mendapatkan nilai ttest = 1,7245 sedangkan ttabel = 1,671. Dengan demikian ttest> ttabel sehingga hipotesa H1 diterima dan Ho ditolak, hal ini berarti hasil belajar siswa yang diberikan model pembelajaran kontekstual berbeda signifikan dengan hasil belajar siswa yang diberikan model pembelajaran konvensional dengan taraf signifikan 0,05.

Hasil analisis tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar antara siswa yang diberi model pembelajaran kontekstual dengan siswa yang diberi model pembelajaran konvensional pada siswa kelas X TAV semester I SMK Negeri 2 Surabaya dan model pembelajaran kontekstula (CTL) memberikan hasil yang lebih baik.

Abstract

This research is aimed to compare the results of Study abroad students using contextual learning (CTL) with conventional teaching methods on electrical circuit material. The research sample is applied to conventional teaching class X TAV 1 As many as 35 students and contextual sample applied to the class X TAV 2 by 35 students. The study population is class electronics engineering training program, competency audio video engineering expertise SMK 2 surabaya. The research design used was quasi Experimental design. The analysis used is the quality of part teaching and student learning outcomes.

The results showed that applying conventional learning methods influence on the average value until 78.95 and completeness learning outcomes of students. 26 students are completed the study and achieving minimum standards of completeness of> 80, whereas application of contextual learning method (CTL) produces an average value of 81.89. 29 students are completed the study and achieve a minimum standard of completeness of> 80. Analysis of hypothesis test scores ttest = 1.7245 and the ttabel = 1.671. Thereby ttest > ttabel so H1 hypothesis is accepted and Ho is rejected, it means student learning outcomes that are given contextual learning models differ significantly with student learning outcomes that are given conventional learning models with significance level 0.05.

The analysis results can be concluded that there are differences in learning outcomes between students who were given contextual model of learning with the students who were given conventional learning models in class X TAV first semester of SMK Negeri 2 Surabaya and learning model contextual (CTL) gives better results.
