IMPLEMENTASI MODEL PEMBELAJARAN CONTEXTUAL TEACHING AND LEARNING (CTL) PADA STANDAR KOMPETENSI DASAR MEMASANG INSTALASI PENERANGAN LISTRIK DI SMKN 7 SURABAYA

Abstrak

Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu: (1) mengetahui kualitas perangkat pembelajaran; (2) mengetahui keaktifan belajar siswa SMKN 7 Surabaya; (3) apakah implementasi pembelajaran CTL dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar ranah kognitif siswa SMKN 7 Surabaya; dan (4) mengetahui ketuntasan hasil belajar ranah psikomotor siswa SMK Negeri 7 Surabaya, yang dibelajarkan dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran CTL. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian quasi-experimental research. Sedangkan subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas X TITL-2 dengan jumlah 35 siswa. Untuk rancangan penelitian dilakukan dengan one group pre-tes pos-test, sedangkan teknik analisis data menggunakan statistik uji-t satu sampel berpasangan (paired sample t-test). Hasil validasi untuk perangkat pembelajaran mendapatkan nilai rata-rata 86,04. Keaktifan siswa mendapatkan nilai rata-rata 78,29. Sedangkan untuk hasil belajar ranah kognitif mendapatkan nilai rata-rata pre-test 35,42 dan nilai rata-rata pos-test 85, dan hasil belajar ranah psikomotor mendapatkan nilai rata-rata 80,55. Peneliti menyimpulkan: (1) perangkat pembelajaran CTL termasuk kategori sangat baik dengan rata-rata penilaian validator adalah 86,04%; (2) keaktifan siswa pada saat pembelajaran selalu meningkat dengan nilai rata-rata tiap pertemuan 78,29; (3) hasil belajar siswa pada ranah kognitif terdapat perbedaan signifikan yaitu mendapatkan nilai rata-rata pre-test sebesar 35,42 dan nilai rata-rata pos-test sebesar 85; dan (4) hasil belajar ranah psikomotor mendapatkan kriteria penilaian baik dengan nilai rata-rata praktik adalah sebesar 80,55. Peneliti menyarankan: (1) berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, sebaiknya model pembelajaran CTL digunakan sebagai inovasi pada saat melaksanakan proses bembelajaran pada pokok bahasan lain; (2) karena model pembelajaran CTL dapat meningkatkan aktifitas siswa dan hasil belajar siswa lebih tinggi, maka sebaiknya model pembelajaran ini di gunakan untuk proses pembelajaran pada mata diklat yang lain.

Kata kunci: Model pembelajaran CTL, keaktifan siswa, hasil belajar ranah kognitif dan hasil belajar ranah psikomotor.

Abstract

Background of this research were: (1) knowing quality of  CTL; (2) knowing learning activity of students in SMKN 7 Surabaya; (3) whether implementation of CTL learning able to improve learning achievement at cognitive field of students in SMKN 7 Surabaya and (4) knowing completeness of learning achievement at psychomotor field of students in SMK Negeri 7 Surabaya, which is learned by using CTL instruction model. Research method used in this research was quasi-experimental research. Subjects of this research were students in classroom X TITL-2 as many 35 students. Research plan conducted by one group pre-test-post-test, while data analysis technique using t-test (paired sample t-test). Validation result for learning set obtained mean score 86.04. Student activity obtained mean score 78.29. Cognitive learning achievement obtained pre-test mean 35.42 and post-test mean 85, while psychomotor learning achievement obtained mean score 80.55. Researcher concluded: (1) learning set of CTL included in very good category with average score from validator was 86.04%; (2) student activity along teaching and learning always increased with average score of each class was 78.29; (3) there was significant differences of student learning achievement at cognitive field, it was obtained average score 35.42 for pre-test and 85 for post-test; and (4) learning achievement of psychomotor field obtained good criteria with average score of practices was 80.55. Researcher suggested: (1) based on this research, prefer CTL instruction model used as innovation while performing teaching and learning process at other main subject; (2) since CTL instruction model able to improve students activity and learning achievement higher, then prefer this instruction model used at learning process on another vocational subject
