PENGEMBANGAN E-PORTFOLIO FASHION DESIGN SEBAGAI MEDIA PERSONAL BRANDING

Mahasiswa dituntut untuk mampu mengikuti perkembangan teknologi informasi yang berkembang pesat. E-Portfolio fashion design merupakan salah satu media yang dapat digunakan sebagai media personal branding. Penelitian ini memanfaatkan website sebagai media personal branding, dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui respon mahasiswa, faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh, kelebihan dan kekurangan e-portfolio dan tampilan dari e-portfolio fashion design. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan metode ADDIE (analyze, design, development, implementation, evaluation). Adapun batasan penelitian ini adalah tentang e-portfolio fashion design, menggunakan Google-Form, dan dilakukan terhadap mahasiswa fashion di Surabaya. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi oleh 34 observer. Sedangkan analisis data yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dengan mengetahui prosentase kelayakan media. Hasil analisis data respon mahasiswa fashion di Surabaya terhadap e-portfolio www.shitanabila.com didapatkan nilai presentase kelayakan e-portfolio fashion design pada aspek respon sebesar 83,06% dan dinyatakan sangat layak sebagai media personal branding. Pada aspek portfolio fashion design didapat nilai presentase kelayakan portfolio fashion design sebesar 77,47% dan dinyatakan layak ditampilkan dalam e-portfolio media personal branding. Kemudian pada aspek media website didapatkan nilai presentase kelayakan media website sebesar 78,94% dan dinyatakan layak sebagai media e-portfolio fashion design. Pada aspek personal branding didapat nilai presentase kelayakan e-portfolio fashion design sebesar 79,29% dan dinyatakan layak digunakan sebagai media personal brandingfashion designer. Kelebihan dan kekurangan dari e-portfolio dapat dilihat pada kolom kritik dan saran yang didapat melalui angket respon. Kelebihan dari e-portfolio telah ditunjukkan oleh respon positif mahasiswa yang telah dijabarkan pada analisis data. Sedangkan kekurangan dari e-portfolio secara garis besar adalah Kurangnya konten yang ditampilkan, Tanpilan website yang terlalu sederhana, dan tampilan website kurang menunjukkan karakter fashion designer.

Abstract

University students are required to be able to follow the rapid development of information technology. Fashion design e-portfolio is a media that can be used as personal branding media. This research utilized a website as personal branding media, with the intention to know university student responses, influencing factors, advantages and disadvantages of fashion design e-portfolio and fashion design e-portfolio apperance. The research type using research of development called ADDIE method (analyze, design, development, implementation, evaluation). The limitations of this research are about e-portfolio fashion design, using Google-Form, and implemented to fashion students in Surabaya. The data collection method using observation by done by 34 observer. While the data analysis using descriptive quantitative by knowing the properness percentage of the media. The data analysis results of fashion student’s response in Surabaya towards www.shitanabila.com e-portfolio obtained the percentage value of the e-portfolio fashion design feasibility on the response aspect is 83.06% and stated as very feasible as a personal branding media. In the aspect of fashion design portfolio, the percentage of the fashion design portfolio feasibility is 77.47% and stated as feasible to be displayed in the e-portfolio media of personal branding. On the aspect of the website media obtained the percentage value of media website is 78.94% and stated as feasible for e-portfolio fashion design media. On the aspect of the personal branding, feasibility percentage value in fashion design e-portfolio is 79.29% and stated as feasible to use as personal branding of a fashion designer. The advantages and disadvantages of e-portfolio can be seen in the criticisms and suggestions clumn through the response questionnaire. The advantages of e-portfolio have been shown by the students positive responses that have been elaborated on data analysis. While the lack of e-portfolio is the lack of content that has been displayed, the website interface is too simple, and the website interface doesn’t display enough the character of a fashion designer.
