GAYA HIDUP WANITA BERHIJAB YANG MELAKUKAN SULAM ALIS DI IDA SALON MALANG

Abstract


Abstrak: Gaya hidup wanita untuk tampil cantik dilakukan dengan beberapa manipulasi wajah, salah satunya adalah sulam alis. Sulam alis telah menjadi gaya hidup wanita modern tidak terkecuali wanita berhijab. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk 1) mengetahui jenis sulam alis yang diminati wanita berhijab di Ida Salon Malang 2) mengetahui proses pengaplikasian sulam alis di Ida Salon Malang 3) mengetahui gaya hidup wanita berhijab yang melakukan sulam alis di Ida Salon Malang. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Deskriptif. Metode yang digunakan adalah wawancara (interview), angket, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Analisis kualitatif menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan menarik kesimpulan (verifikasi). Analisis kuantitatif menggunakan mean, mode, dan persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) jenis sulam alis yang diminati wanita berhijab adalah sulam alis 6 Dimensi dan Microblading 2) proses pengaplikasian sulam alis adalah: alis dibersihkan, digambar, dicukur, anestesi, sulam alis tahap pertama, sulam alis tahap kedua,  sulam alis tahap ketiga, dan finishing diolesi healing kit, 3) gaya hidup wanita berhijab yang melakukan sulam alis adalah: wanita berhijab yang memiliki pandangan agama moderat, pekerjaannya membutuhkan makeup, status sosial tinggi dan memiliki komunitas sosialita, memiliki basic merias wajah, alisnya tidak indah, senang mencari informasi pada media tentang makeup, mengikuti perkembangan fashion, aktif melakukan perawatan di salon, senang berbelanja, aktif dalam berakivitas, dan aktif di media sosial.

Abstract: This research aimed to: 1) determine the type of eyebrow embroidery preferred by veiled woman in Ida Salon Malang, 2) determine the process of applying eyebrow embroidery in Ida Salon Malang, and 3) determine the lifestyle of veiled women of conducting eyebrow embroidery in Ida Salon Malang. The type of this research was Descriptive research. Subjects in this research were: the owner, beautician, and 30 veiled women as the consumers of eyebrow embroidery. Data collection technique used were interviews, questionnaires, observations, and documentations. Data analysis descriptive analysis which consisted of: reduction, presentation, and  verification. Quantitative analysis used mean, mode, and percentages. The results indicated that; 1) the type of eyebrow embroidery preferred by veiled woman were the Microblading and 6-Dimensional, 2) the application process of eyebrow embroidery are as follows; clear the brow, draw with pencil, trim the eyebrows, anesthesia, first phase of eyebrow embroidery, the second phase of eyebrow embroidery, the third phase of eyebrow embroidery, and smeared by the healing kit, 3) veiled women conducted the eyebrow embroidery with the consideration that to appear attractive with makeup is a necessity in theit working hours or daily routine, therefore they need lasting, practical makeup, and is resistant to water. They conducted this to follow the latest makeup trends such as shown by public figures in the print and electronic media, and embroidered eyebrows tends to boost their popularity by obtaining likes or positive comments on social media.
