PENINGKATAN KETERAMPILAN MAKE UP PANGGUNG DAN FACE PAINTING MELALUI PELATIHAN PADA CHEERLEADERS DI SMK GIKI 1 SURABAYA

Abstract


Abstrak: Make up merupakan salah satu aspek yang penting dalam menunjang penampilan cheerleaders. SMK Giki 1 Surabaya memiliki tim cheerleaders yang sudah berprestasi, namun kendala yang dialami yaitu kurangnya kemampuan peserta cheerleader dalam melakukan make up panggung dan face painting, sehingga diadakan pelatihan untuk menunjang kemampuan mereka. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu mengetahui keterlaksanaan pelatihan, aktivitas peserta pelatihan, peningkatan keterampilan, dan respon peserta. Jenis penelitian ini adalah pre experimental design (desain eksperimen semu). Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan yaitu one group pre test- post test design. Subjek penelitian yaitu 20 siswi. Metode penelitian ini yaitu metode observasi, aktivitas peserta, dan hasil praktek pelatihan, serta metode angket untuk mendapatkan respon peserta pelatihan. Variabel bebas yang digunakan yaitu pelatihan dengan menggunakan metode demonstrasi, sedangkan variabel terikat dalam penelitian ini yaitu hasil keterampilan peserta pelatihan. Metode analisis yang digunakan yaitu rumus rata-rata dan persentase, serta uji T berpasangan dengan SPSS 20. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterlaksanaan pelatihan dan aktivitas mendapat skor rata-rata 4 dengan kategori sangat baik. Hasil dari keterampilan menunjukkan terdapat peningkatan keterampilan make up panggung dan face painting melalui pelatihan dengan nilai signifikansi 0,000 (t tabel ≤0,05). Hasil dari respon siswa menunjukkan 100% merespon positif.

Abstrak: Make up is one of the important aspects in supporting the appearance of cheerleaders. SMK Giki 1 Surabaya has cheerleaders team who have some achievements, but the obstacles experienced are the lack of ability cheerleading participants in performing the stage make up and face painting, so training is held to support their ability. The purpose of this research is to know the implementation of the training, the activity of the participants, the improvement of skill, and the response of the participants. The kind of research is pre-experimental design. The design experiment used was one group pre test- post test design. The subject of the research was 20 students. The research method were observation, participant activity, and training practice result. Also the questionnaire method to get response of participants. Dependent variable was training that used demonstration method, whereas the independent variable was the result of the training. Analysis method used were average formula and percentage, also T Pairing test using SPSS 20. The results showed that the training implementation and activity data got the average score were  4 with very good category. The results of the skills showed a significant improvement of make up skills on stage and face painting by the training for cheerleader at SMK Giki 1 with a significance of 0.000 (t table ≤0,05). The result of the student response was 100%.
