### LITERASI MATEMATIKA SISWA SMA KELAS X DALAM MENYELESAIKAN SOAL MODEL PISA DITINJAU DARI PERBEDAAN GENDER

Abstrak

Literasi matematika sangat dibutuhkan siswa dalam menyelesaikan masalah dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi capaian literasi matematika siswa adalah gender. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif yang bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan literasi matematika siswa SMA Kelas X dalam menyelesaikan soal model PISA ditinjau dari perbedaan gender. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah 4 orang siswa SMA Negeri 1 Manyar kelas X tahun ajaran 2017/2018, yaitu 10 siswa bergender maskulin, 10 siswa bergender feminin, 10 siswa bergender androgini, dan 10siswa bergender tak dapat dibedakan.

Abstract

Mathematical literasi needed by student to solve contextual problem. Mathematical literasi influenced by gender. This research uses descriptive qualitative which purposes to describe students’ mathematical literacy 10th grade in senior high school to solve question in PISA model by seeing differentiation of gender. Subject in this research are 4 students in 10th grade of State Senior High School Manyar Gresik year 2017/2018. They are a masculine, a feminine, an androgyny, and a student cannot be differentiated.

The data be analyzed based on mathematical literacys’ indicator in mathematic process. These are formulate, employ, and interpret. Based on the results of the data analysis, (1) masculine shows all indicators in employ and interpret process while solve question with quantity content. In formulate process, subject did not find a relation from question. Subject shows all indicator in employ and interpret process while solve question with space and shape content, but in formulate process did not do requirement identification and assumption in mathematics model. (2) feminine shows all indicators in formulate, employ, and interpret process while solve question on both content. (3) Androgyny shows all indicators in employ and interpret process while solve question with quantity content. In formulate process, subject did not find a relation from question. Subject shows all indicators in formulate, employ, and interpret process while solve question with space and shape content. (4) Student cannot be differentiated shows all indicators in formulate, employ, and interpret process while solve question on both content.
