PENGEMBANGAN LEMBAR KEGIATAN SISWA (LKS) ORGANISASI KEHIDUPAN UNTUK MELATIHKAN KETERAMPILAN PROSES SAINS SISWA KELAS VII

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kelayakan LKS Organisasi Kehidupan untuk melatihkan keterampilan proses sains berdasarkan aspek validitas, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan. Kelayakan LKS organisasi kehidupan berdasarkan aspek validitas ditinjau dari hasil validasi, aspek  kepraktisan ditinjau dari hasil pengamatan aktivitas siswa, dan aspek keefektifan ditinjau dari hasil belajar dan respons siswa. Lembar kegiatan siswa Organisasi Kehidupan merupakan lembaran-lembaran berisi tentang kegiatan mengamati sel, jaringan, organ, dan sistem organ pada hewan dan tumbuhan, menginterpretasikan hasil pengamatan, dan mengomunikasikan hasil diskusi dan pengamatan yang telah dilakukan sesuai dengan tuntutan dalam Kurikulum 2013 bahwa kegiatan pembelajaran dilaksanakan dengan pendekatan ilmiah sehingga siswa perlu dilatihkan keterampilan proses sains.


Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah .metode R&D (Research and Development) dengan tujuh tahapan. Penelitian dilakukan selama bulan April sampai Agustus 2014 di FMIPA Universitas Negeri Surabaya, selanjutnya dilakukan ujicoba terbatas di SMPN 2 Ngoro Mojokerto pada bulan September 2014.


Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persentase kelayakan LKS Organisasi Kehidupan berdasarkan aspek validitas ditinjau dari hasil penilaian penelaah diperoleh rata-rata sebesar 91,8% dengan interpretasi sangat layak; aspek kepraktisan ditinjau dari hasil pengamatan aktivitas siswa rata-rata sebesar 93,6% dengan interpretasi sangat layak. Aspek keefektifan ditinjau dari hasil belajar kognitif pre-test memperoleh ketuntasan sebesar 0% dengan interpretasi tidak layak dan post test memperoleh ketuntasan sebesar 80% dengan interpretasi layak, hasil belajar keterampilan proses sains sebesar 85,6% dengan interpretasi sangat layak, dan respons siswa sebesar 95% dengan interpretasi sangat layak. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa LKS Organisasi Kehidupan layak untuk melatihkan keterampilan proses sains mengamati, menginterpretasi, dan mengomunikasikan.

Abstract


This research aimed to describe the proper of Student Worksheet Life Organization to train science process skill based on validity, practicality, and effectiveness. The properness of Student Worksheet Life Organization based on validity viewed from validation result, practicality aspect viewed from the result of observation on student activity, and the effectiveness viewed from learning achievement and student response. Student Worksheet Life Organization is sheets containing about the activities of observing cell, tissue, organs, and organs system of animal and plant, interpreting observation result, and communicating result of discussion and observation had been conducted as demand of Curriculum 2013 that learning activities conducted by scientific approach then student need to be trained with science process skill.


Research method used in this experiment was R&D (Research and Development) with seven stages. Research conducted during April to August 2014 at Mathematics and Science Faculty in State University of Surabaya, then trial limited in SMPN 2 Ngoro Mojokerto at September 2014.


Result of this research showed the properness percentage of Student Worksheet of Life Organization based on validity aspect the average was 91,8% with interpretation was very proper; the practicality aspect viewed from result observation of student activity were 93,6% with interpretation very proper. The effectiveness aspect viewed from cognitive pre-test achievement obtained completeness 0% with interpretation not proper and post-test obtained completeness 80% with interpretation was proper, learning achievement of science process skill was 85,6% with interpretation very proper, and student response was 95% with interpretation very proper. Thus could be concluded that Student Worksheet Life Organization proper to train science process skill of observing, interpreting, and communicating.
