PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN INKUIRI TERBIMBING PADA MATERI DAMPAK PENCEMARAN BAGI KEHIDUPAN UNTUK MELATIHKAN KETERAMPILAN PROSES SAINS SISWA

Abstrak


Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan keterlaksanaan pembelajaran, keterampilan proses sains siswa, dan respons siswa terhadap model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing. Jenis penelitian ini adalah pre experimental design dengan rancangan penelitian menggunakan one group pre-test and post-test design dan analisis dilakukan secara deskriptif kuantitatif di SMP Negeri 21 Surabaya. Hasil data penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) keterlaksanaan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing berlangsung sangat baik, dengan pemerolehan skor keterlaksanaan pada pertemuan I sebesar 3,27,  skor pada pertemuan II sebesar 3,61 dan skor keterlaksanaan pada pertemuan III sebesar 3,91. (2) Keterampilan proses sains meningkat yang ditandai dengan hasil perhitungan uji N-Gain 0,6 dengan kategori sedang. Perbedaan hasil pre-test dan post-test dinyatakan mengalami perbedaan signifikan, didasarkan dari hasil uji-t diperoleh thitung (13,33) > ttabel (1,68) dengan taraf signifikan α = 0,05. (3) Siswa memberikan respons positif yang sangat kuat terhadap proses pembelajaran dengan model inkuiri terbimbing, dengan persentase siswa yang memberikan respons positif sebesar 90%.

Abstract


This research aims to describe the implementation of guided inquiry learning, science process skills and students response at the SMPN 21 Surabaya after following the process of teaching and  learning. The type of research is pre-experimental design by using a class that is grade VII-A contains of 38 students. The research design used was one group pre-test and post test design. The results showed that: (1) The enforceability of guided inquiry learning with enforceability of learning score at the meeting I of 3,27 with well category, enforceability of learning score at the meeting II of 3,57 with excellent category and enforceability of learning score at the meeting III of 3,91 with excellent category. ( 2 ) the application of guided inquiry on any material the impact of polution for life can improve skill process science characterized by a result of calculation test N-gain shown any increase to every aspect skill process science. Differences results pre-test and post-test expressed undergo significant difference it is based from the uji-t obtained tcount (13,33) > ttabel (1,68) by standard significant α = 0,05. (3) students give positive response against the learning process with a guided inquiry learning, with the percentage of students who give positive response of 90%.
