PENGEMBANGAN BAHAN AJAR IPA BERORIENTASI PROJECT BASED LEARNING (PjBL) BERBASIS INFORMATION COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY (ICT) UNTUK MELATIHKAN KOMUNIKASI

Penelitian ini terkait dengan pengembangan bahan ajar IPA berorientasi Project Based Learning (PjBL) berbasis Information Comunication Technology (ICT) untuk melatihkan keterampilan komunikasi siswa SMP kelas VII. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh bahan ajar yang layak digunakan untuk melatihkan keterampilan mengkomunikasikan siswa melaui media berbasis ICT dengan kriteria isi/konten, frekuensi, tautan, sistematika penulisan dan kontribusi komentar. Penelitian ini menggunakan model 4-D, tetapi hanya sampai pada tahap development atau pengembangan. Kelayakan bahan ajar IPA berorientasi PjBL berbasis ICT divalidasi oleh 2 dosen FMIPA dan 1 guru IPA. Hasil validasi bahan ajar IPA ditinjau dari aspek kriteria isi/konten, kriteria penyajian dan kriteria kebahasaan berturut-turut diperoleh persentase rata-rata sebesar 91,11%, 91,11% dan 86,67% dengan rata-rata keseluruhan sebesar 89,63% yang menunjukkan skala intepretasi sangat layak untuk digunakan. Selanjutnya bahan ajar IPA diujicobakan pada 15 siswa kelas VII SMPN 26 Surabaya dan diperoleh keterampilan mengkomunikasikan pada proyek I sebesar 55% dengan intepretasi cukup, setelah dilatihkan diperoleh hasil pengamatan pada proyek II menjadi sebesar 87% dengan intepretasi sangat baik terkait isi/konten.  Pada kategori frekuensi diperoleh persentase sebesar 53% dengan intepretasi cukup, setelah dilatihkan menjadi sebesar 88% dengan intepretasi sangat baik.  Terkait kategori tautan diperoleh hasil pengamatan sebesar 45% dengan intepretasi kurang, setelah dilatihkan menjadi sebesar 80% dengan intepretasi sangat baik. Pada kategori sistematika penulisan  diperoleh keterampilan mengkomunikasikan sebesar 53% dengan intepretasi cukup, setelah dilatihkan menjadi sebesar 80% dengan intepretasi sangat baik. Terkait kategori kontribusi komentar diperoleh hasil pengamatan sebesar 42% dengan intepretasi kurang, setelah dilatihkan menjadi sebesar 92% dengan intepretasi sangat baik. Siswa memberikan respon yang sangat positif terhadap bahan ajar IPA berorientasi Project Based Learning (PjBL) pada materi Energi dalam Sistem Kehidupan dengan presentase rata-rata sebesar 97,78%.

Abstract


This research associated with the development of science teaching materials oriented project-based learning based information communication technology to train student’s communication skills for class VII. This research aims to obtain of science teaching materials which fit for used to train students’s communication skills through based information communication technology media with criteria of the contents, the frequency, link, the writing of systematics and the contribution of comments. This research uses the model 4-D, but only up to the phase development. Feasibility of this science teaching material oriented PJBL based ICT validated by 2 lecturers from FMIPA Unesa and 1 science teacher. The validation science teaching material review of the criteria the content, presentation and language criteria successively acquired a percentage of average 91,11%, 91,11% and 86,67% with a total average of 89,63% indicating the interpretation of very proper to be used. The science teaching material tested for 15 students of class VII on SMPN 26 Surabaya and obtained communicating skills to the project I as much as 55% with interpretation enough,  after trained obtained the results of observations to the project II as much as 87% with interpretation very good associated with the content. Into the category of a frequency obtained the percentage of as much as 53% with interpretation enough,  after trained as much as 88% with interpretation very good. Related with hyperlink category is obtained the results of observations by 45% with interpretation less, after trained as much as 80% with interpretation very good. Into the category of writing systematic is obtained communicating skill as much as 53% with interpretation enough,  after trained as much as 80% with interpretation very good. Relate to the category of the contribution to comments obtained the results of observations as much as 42% with interpretation less, after trained as much as 92% with interpretation very good. Students give a positive response to the science teaching material oriented project-based learning based  on information communication technology  to the topic of energy in a system life with the percentage of average 97,78%.
