PENERAPAN PEMBELAJARAN IPA TERPADU TIPE CONNECTED MATERI SIFAT LARUTAN SERTA KETERKAITANNYA DENGAN SUMBER ARUS LISTRIK KELAS VII SMPN 1 TRAWAS MOJOKERTO

Abstrak


Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi hasil pra penelitian yang menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran IPA di SMPN 1 Trawas masih diajarkan secara terpisah. Ketuntasan belajar belum sesuai dengan harapan yakni hanya 65% yang tuntas secara klasikal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan keterlaksanaan pembelajaran IPA Terpadu tipe connected, hasil belajar kognitif siswa, dan respon siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah menggunakan model desain eksperimen semu (pre experimental) dengan menggunakan rancangan penelitian “One Group Pretest-Postest Design”. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VII-A SMPN 1 Trawas sebanyak 35 siswa. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan lembar pengamatan keterlaksanaan pembelajaran, tes ketuntasan belajar siswa, dan angket respon siswa. Hasil pengamatan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran terlaksana dengan baik. Pada pertemuan pertama, diperoleh keterlaksanaan pembelajaran sebesar 95% dan pertemuan kedua sebesar 93,75%. Terdapat penurunan rata-rata dipertemuan kedua dikarenakan pada fase 3 pertemuan kedua pada saat percobaan sangat antusias sehingga siswa terkesan ramai dalam melakukan percobaan. Berdasarkan uji normalitas, H0 diterima dan data berdistribusi normal karena nilai sig.0,216 > 0,05. Setelah diuji-t untuk mengetahui perbedaan antara hasil pre-test dan post-test. ttabel 0,05 = 17,331 > 2,0322 maka H0 ditolak. Apabila H0 ditolak berarti ada perbedaan signifikan antara nilai pre-test dan post-test. Dengan analisis skor gain ternormalisasi nilai pre-test dan post-test didapatkan 11 siswa dengan kategori tinggi (31,34%), 22 siswa dengan kategori sedang (62,86%), dan 2 siswa berkategori rendah (5,71%). Nilai pre-test menunjukkan hanya 22,86% siswa yang tuntas secara klasikal, ini dikarenakan 27 siswa tidak tuntas dengan rata-rata nilai pre-tes t 67,17. Hasil post-test menunjukkan bahwa 32 siswa tuntas secara klasikal dan 3 siswa yang tidak tuntas, dengan rata-rata nilai 87,11 diperoleh ketuntasan belajar klasikal 91,43%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan pembelajaran IPA Terpadu tipe connected meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Dalam proses belajar mengajar, siswa sangat merespon pembelajaran dengan materi sifat larutan serta keterkaitannya dengan sumber arus listrik.

Abstract


The study was backed by the results of the research indicate pre-study results that show that learning science in state junior high school 1 of Trawas still taught separately. Completeness learning is not in accordance with the expectation that only 65% were completed in the classical style. This study aimed to describe completeness of integrated science connected model, students cognitive learning results, and student responses. The method used is to use the model of a quasi experimental design (pre-experimental) by using the design study "One Group Pretest-Posttest Design". The subjects were students of class 7th-A state junior high school 1 of  Trawas many as 35 students. The research instrument uses observation sheets completeness learning, test of students achievement, and the student questionnaire responses. The observations showed that the learning gets done properly. At the first meeting, retrieved completeness study of 95% and the second meeting of 93,75%. There is a decrease in the average of second meeting phase 3 due to the second meeting at the time of the experiment are excited that the students look crowded. Based normality test, H0 is accepted and normal distribution of data because the value sig. 0,216 > 0,05. After the test-t to know the difference between the pre-test and post-test. ttabel > 0,05 = 17,331 > 2,0322 then H0 is rejected. If H0 is rejected means that there is a significant difference between the pre-test and post-test. With a balanced analysis of the normalized gain value pre-test and post-test found 11 students with high category (31,34%), 22 students with moderate category (62,86%), and the second category of students is low (5,71%). The value of pre-test showing only 22,86% of students who completed classical, this is because the 27 students not finished with an average value of pre-test 67,17. Results of the post-test showed that 32 students completely in classical and 3 students who do not complete, with an average value of classical learning 87,11 obtained completeness 91,43%. This indicates that the application of the integrated science connected model increase the students learning results. In the process of teaching and learning, students are learning to respond to the material properties of the solution as well as with dependencies of electrical current sources.
