VALIDITAS BUKU AJAR BERBASIS CONTEXTUAL TEACHING AND LEARNING (CTL) UNTUK MELATIHKAN KETERAMPILAN BERPIKIR KRITIS SISWA

Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kevalidan buku ajar berbasis Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) untuk melatihkan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu penelitian pengembangan dengan model pengembangan 4D yang terdiri dari 4 tahapan, yaitu define, design, develop tanpa tahap disseminate. Subjek dari penelitian ini terdiri dari 32 siswa kelas VII-F SMP Negeri 3 Sidoarjo tahun ajaran 2017-2018. Kevalidan buku ajar berbasis Contextual teaching and learning (CTL) ini dilakukan oleh tiga validator yaitu satu dosen biologi sebagai ahli materi, satu dosen IPA sebagai ahli pendidikan dan satu guru IPA SMP. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan skor rata-rata buku ajar dari para pakar pada aspek isi sebesar 3,56;aspek penyajian 3,58 dan aspek bahasa sebesar 3,33. Sehingga didapatkan kecenderungan kelayakan yaitu berada pada aktegori sangat valid.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe validity of textbooks based on Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) to trained student Critical Thinking Skills. he design of this research is 4D development model which is consisst of 4 steps, but this research there are only 3 steps without disseminate step. The subject of this research is 32 students of grade 7th of Public Junior High School 3 Sidoarjo academic year 2017-2018. Validity of textbooks based on Contextual teaching and learning (CTL is done by expert,material expert, educational expert and science teacher. The results of this research shows that the average score on the contecnt aspect of 3,56, the serving aspect is 3,58 and the written language aspect is 3,33. Thus, it can be concluded that based on the average of all aspects, the textbook can be interpreted as very valid category.
