Peningkatan Hasil Belajar Siswa pada Materi Cermin Cekung dan Cermin Cembung dengan Strategi Predict-Observe-Explain (POE)

Abstrak

Penerapan strategi pembelajaran Predict-Observe-Explain (POE) bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan hasil belajar siswa,. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Pre-Experiment dengan rancangan penelitian One Group Pre-test Post-test Design. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII-B. Analisis N-Gain untuk hasil belajar aspek pengetahuan siswa dengan kriteria tinggi sebesar 36% dan untuk kriteria sedang sebesar 66%.

Kata Kunci: Predict-Observe-Explain (POE), hasil belajar siswa.

Abstract

This research is about implementation of Predict-Observe-Explain (POE) strategy on the matter of convex and concave mirror to improve student learning results. This research aims to describe the increasing of student’s learning result. The kind of this research is a Pre-Experiment using research design namely One Group Pre-test Post-test Design. The objects of this research are the students of class VIII-B. The N-Gain test analysis obtained the criteria of high indeks 34% and criteria for medium indeks 66%.
