PENGEMBANGAN BUKU SISWA IPA TERPADU TIPE CONNECTED TOPIK PROSES FOTOSINTESIS DI SMP

Penelitian pengembangan buku siswa IPA terpadu tipe connected dengan topik proses fotosintesis bertujuan untuk mendiskripsikan: (1) kelayakan buku siswa IPA terpadu yang dikembangkan, (2) pemahaman siswa setelah pembelajaran, dan  (3) respons siswa. Penelitian diawali dengan penyusunan buku  siswa yang dilengkapi dengan lembar kerja siswa, dan soal IPA terpadu. Uji coba buku siswa dalam pembelajaran IPA terpadu dilakukan pada siswa kelas VIII-A SMP Negeri 1 Jabon sebanyak 12 siswa pada tahun pelajaran 2012-2013. Model pengembangan buku siswa menggunakan 4-D models yang dibatasi sampai tahap pengembangan (develop). Instrumen penelitian berupa lembar telaah, lembar validasi, lembar tes dan lembar angket respons siswa. Data penelitian menunjukkan bahwa buku siswa yang dikembangkan layak digunakan karena telah memenuhi komponen kelayakan materi, penyajian, dan bahasa, dengan persentase masing-m asing sebesar 82,22%; 85,00%; dan 84,00%; yang termasuk dalam kategori sangat layak. Hasil belajar siswa menunjukkan 10 siswa tuntas dan 2 siswa tidak tuntas sehingga persentase ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 83,33%. Hasil analisis angket respons siswa menunjukkan bahwa dalam pembelajaran IPA terpadu topik proses fotosintesis, siswa memberikan respon positif terhadap pembelajaran tersebut.

Abstract


Research development of integrated science students books with type connected in the photosynthesis process topic has aims to describe: (1) the suitable of an integrated science students books, (2) The understanding of students after  learning, and (3) student response. The research was begun with the arragement of  students books which is completed with student worksheets, and the matter of  integrated science. The test devices is done on 12 students of SMPN 1 Jabon at eighth grade in the periode of 2012-2013. The model of research development used 4-D models which is limited up to the development phase (develop). The instruments research used sheet of review, validation, and test, and also questionnaire of  students responses. The data of this study indicate that students books which developed is very suitable to be used because it consist of the criteria including matter, presentation, and language, each with percentage of  82.22%, 85.00% and 84.00%. Student learning outcomes were obtained by 10 students completed and 2 who did not complete so that the percentage of classical completeness 83.33%. The analysis of students questionnaire in integrated science with photosynthesis process topic showed positive response.
