PENERAPAN PEMBELAJARAN IPA TERPADU DENGAN PENDEKATAN SETS-EDUTAINMENT TEMA BATERAI ALAMI UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KETERAMPILAN PROSES SAINS DAN HASIL BELAJAR DI SMPN 1 GONDANG

Abstrak 


Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan keterlaksanaaan pembelajaran IPA terpadu dengan pendekatan SETS-edutainment, keterampilan proses sains, hasil belajar, dan respon siswa di SMPN 1 Gondang setelah mengikuti  proses belajar mengajar. Jenis penelitian ini adalah pra-eksperimen dengan menggunakan satu kelas yaitu kelas VIII-D sebanyak 31 siswa. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah one group pre-test and post-test design. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan selama tiga kali pertemuan. Instrumen penelitian berupa lembar pengamatan keterlaksanaan pembelajaran, keterampilan proses sains, hasil belajar, dan angket. Hasil pengamatan me nunjukkan bahwa keterlaksanaan pembelajaran telah terlaksana dengan sangat baik. Berdasarkan hasil uji normalitas diperoleh bahwa data berdistribusi normal. Hasil analisis uji N-gain menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata hasil tes tiap jenis KPS termasuk kategori sedang dengan ketuntasan sebesar 71%. Sedangkan hasil analisis uji N-gain pada tes kognitif siswa menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata termasuk kategori sedang dengan ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 97%. Berdasarkan hasil uji-t berpasangan pada tes KPS didapatkan thitung>ttabel (15,88>1,70) dengan α = 0,05 dan pada hasil tes kognitif didapatkan thitung > ttabel (15,47>1,70) dengan α = 0,05, hal ini menunjukkan terdapat peningkatan yang signifikan antara nilai pre-test dengan  post-test. Hasil belajar psikomotor dan afektif siswa mencapai persentase kategori sangat baik. Respon siswa terhadap pembelajaran juga sangat baik. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran IPA Terpadu dapat meningkatkan keterampilan proses sains dan hasil belajar siswa.

Abstract


This study aims to describe the implementation of integrated science learning with SETS-edutainment approach, science process skills, learning outcomes, and students’ response at the SMPN 1 Gondang after following the process of teaching and learning. This type of research is pre-experimental by using a class that is grade VIII-D contains of 31 students. The research design used was one group pre-test and post test design. This research was conducted in three times of meeting. The research instrument used were observation sheets of learning implementation, skill of  science process, the study outcomes, and the questionnaire. The result of observations showed that teaching and learning process has been implemented very well. Based on the observation of  KPS showed that communicating skill is higher than observing. Based on the result of normality test is obtained that the data distributed normally. The result of N-gain test analysis showed that the average of every kind of KPS test results was in medium category with the students completion was 71 %. Meanwhile the result of N-gain test analysis in the students cognitive test showed that the average in medium category with 97% classical completion. Based on paired–samples t-test in the KPS test was obtained that tscore>ttable (15,88>1,70 ) with α=0,05 and in the cognitive test was obtained that tscore>ttable (15,47>1,70) with α=0,05 showed that there is significant increase of students score from pre-test to post-test. The students psychomotor and affective outcomes reach the percentage of excellent category. Students response to the teaching and learning process was also very good. This case showed that Integrated Science learning can improve the science process skills and students learning outcomes.
