PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE TGT UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR AKADEMIK DAN KETERAMPILAN SOSIAL SISWA SMPN 2 SINGGAHAN TUBAN

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan keterlaksanaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT, keterampilan sosial siswa, ketuntasan hasil belajar akademik siswa, dan respon siswa dalam pembelajaran dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT pada pokok bahasan gerak. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pre eksperimental dengan “One Grup Pretest Posttest Design” yang diterapkan di kelas VII-A SMPN 2 Singgahan Tuban. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa (1) Keterlaksanaan pembelajaran dalam penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT sudah sesuai dengan sintaks dan terlaksana sangat baik dengan persentase 90,1%, (2) Keterampilan sosial siswa mengalami peningkatan pada keterampilan kerjasama dari persentase 52,00% hingga 53,25% , (3) Hasil belajar akademik siswa mengalami peningkatan setelah mengikuti pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT berdasarkan hasil uji t berpasangan yaitu thitung = 9,33 > ttabel = 2,09, hal ini menunjukkan bahwa hasil pre-test dan post-test memiliki perbedaan signifikan, (4) Seluruh siswa kelas VII-A merespon positif terhadap penerapan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT.

Abstract


This research to describe the implementation of cooperative learning model with TGT type, the students’ social skill, the completeness of students’ academic learning results, and students’ responses in the learning with cooperative learning model with TGT type on the subject of motion. This research was pre-experimental research with “One Group Pretest Posttest Design” was implemented at Class VII-A SMPN 2 Singgahan Tuban. Based of the analysis results of research data,  concluded that (1) the learning with the implementation of cooperative learning model with TGT type was in accordance with the syntax and it was implemented well with the percentage of 90,1%, (2) the students’ social skill improved with the average of cooperations’ skill with the percentage from 52,00% to 53,25%, (3) the students’ academic learning results also improved with the completeness of cooperative learning model with TGT  based of paired t-test result was tcount = 9,33 > ttable = 2,09, this showed that the result pretest and posttest have a significant difference, and (4) all students of Class VII-A responded the implementation of cooperative learning model with TGT type positively.
