PENGEMBANGAN LKS IPA BERORIENTASI STRATEGI INQUIRING MINDS WANT TO KNOW PADA SUBTOPIK SUHU DAN PERUBAHANNYA DI KELAS VII SMP

Berdasarkan Permendikbud Nomor 65 Tahun 2013 tentang standar proses dalam kurikulum 2013 menyatakan bahwa proses pembelajaran seharusnya diselenggarakan secara interaktif serta memotivasi siswa  untuk berpartisipasi aktif. Lembar Kegiatan Siswa (LKS) yang berorientasi strategi inquiring minds want to know dapat digunakan untuk mengajak siswa terlibat aktif dalam proses pembelajaran.  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: mendeskripsikan hasil validitas LKS yang meliputi validitas isi, validitas konstruksi dan kesesuaian LKS dengan strategi  inquiring minds want to know, mendeskripsikan aktivitas siswa selama mengerjakan LKS, mendeskripsikan hasil belajar siswa setelah pelaksanaan uji coba terbatas terhadap LKS, dan mendeskripsikan respons siswa terhadap LKS IPA berorientasi strategi inquiring minds want to know pada subtopik suhu dan perubahannya di kelas VII SMP. Pengembangan LKS mengacu pada model 4-D yang dibatasi sampai tahap pengembangan. Validitas LKS diperoleh dari dua dosen FMIPA Unesa dan satu guru IPA SMP. Uji coba terbatas dilakukan pada 22 orang siswa kelas VII-B SMP Negeri 2 Kepohbaru Bojonegoro. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah lembar : telaah, validasi, pengamatan aktivitas siswa, pengamatan afektif dan psikomotor siswa, tes kognitif siswa, dan angket respons siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah angket, observasi dan pengukuran tes hasil belajar. Hasil validitas LKS memperoleh persentase rata-rata sebesar 84,94% dengan kriteria “sangat baik”. Aktivitas siswa selama mengerjakan LKS memperoleh persentase rata-rata sebesar 99,18% dengan kriteria “sangat baik”.  Hasil belajar siswa pada ranah : kognitif sebesar 3,15, psikomotor sebesar 3,68, dan afektif dengan kategori “sangat baik”. Respons siswa memperoleh persentase rata-rata sebesar 96,56% dengan kriteria “sangat merespons”. Berdasarkan data di atas dapat disimpulkan bahwa penelitian ini telah menghasilkan LKS IPA berorientasi strategi inquiring minds want to know pada subtopik suhu dan perubahannya di kelas VII SMP yang layak secara teoritis dan empiris.

Abstract


Based on The Regulation of The Minister of Education and Culture Number 65 by 2013 about standard process in 2013 curriculum stating that the learning process should be held in an interactive and motivating students to participate actively. Student Activity Sheets (SAS) oriented strategy inquiring minds want to know can be used to engage students actively in the learning process. This research aimed at: described the results of  validity of SAS, which includes  the validity of contents, the validity of construction and suitability of  SAS with the strategy an inquiring minds want to know, described students activity during exercise SAS, described student learning outcomes after implementation of limited testing on SAS, and described the responses of students on the SAS. The development of the SAS refers to a model 4-D that is restricted to the stages of development. Validity of the SAS obtained from two lecturer of FMIPA Unesa and two science teachers of junior high school. Limited testing was done at 22 students VII-B class on state junior high school 2 of Kepohbaru Bojonegoro. The research instruments used are study sheets, validation sheets, observation activity students sheets, observation affective and psychomotor sheets, cognitive test sheets, and response students questionnaire. Technique of the collection of data used are questionnaire, observation and measurement of study result of the test. The results of validity of SAS, obtain the percentage of average of 84,94% with criteria “very good”. Students activity during exercise obtain the percentage of average of 99,18% with criteria “very good”. Student learning outcomes in the domain of cognitive (3,15), psychomotor (3,68) and affective with category “very good”. Students response obtain the percentage of average of 96,56% with criteria “very responding”. Based on the data above, it can be concluded that this research has been produce science SAS oriented strategy an inquiring minds want to know on a subtopic of the tempereture and it change in VII grade of junior high school decent theoretically and empirically.
