PENERAPAN PEMBELAJARAN IPA SMP BERBASIS ANALYTICAL THINKING SKILL UNTUK MENDUKUNG PELAKSANAAN PENDEKATAN 5M KURIKULUM 2013 PADA MATERI GETARAN DAN GELOMBANG KELAS VIII SMPN 3 WARU SIDOARJO

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mendeskripsikan keterlaksanaan pembelajaran yang mendukung pelaksanaan pendekatan 5M kurikulum 2013, (2) mendeskripsikan peningkatan keterampilan berpikir analitis siswa selama proses pembelajaran, dan (3) mendeskripsikan hasil belajar kognitif materi getaran dan gelombang melalui penerapan pembelajaran IPA berbasis Analytical Thingking Skill dengan pendekatan 5M kurikulum 2013. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah pre Experimental Design atau eksperimen semu dengan rancangan penelitian menggunakan one group pre-test and post-test Design. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterlaksanaan pembelajaran terlaksana dengan baik ditunjukkan pada fase  I (menyampaikan tujuan dan memotivasi siswa), fase II (menyajikan informasi), fase III (mengorganisasikan siswa ke dalam kelompok-kelompok belajar individual maupun kelompok), fase IV (membimbing kelompok bekerja dan belajar), fase V (tahap evaluasi dan penghargaan), dan aspek pengelolaan waktu masing – masih memperoleh kriteria baik dengan skor rata – rata setiap fase dan aspek masing – masing 3,23; 3,37; 3,00; 3,00; 3,27 dan 2,00. Peningkatan keterampilan berpikir analitis siswa memperoleh n-gain score rata-rata sebesar 0,64 dengan kriteria sedang . Hasil Belajar kognitif siswa pada materi getaran dan gelombang mencapai ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 80%. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan pembelajaran IPA berbasis Analytical Thinking Skill dapat mendukung pelaksanaan pendekatan 5M kurikulum 2013 dan meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir analitis siswa kelas VIII B SMPN 3 Waru – Sidoarjo pada materi getaran dan gelombang.


Abstract


The purpose of this study to describe how the learning process can be don in order to support the curriculum 2013, portray the improvement on analytical thinking skill of students during the learning process, and report the cognitive result on the subject vibration and wave based on the implemantation of analytical thinking skill by 5M approach on curriculum 2013. The type of researsh in this study was Pre Experimental Design or Quasi Experiment, besides the design study was using one group pre-test and post-test design. The study showed that the achievement on learning process can be seen on first phase (deliver the purpose and motivate the students), second phase (provide the information), third phase (organize the student into individual or samll group study), fourth phase (guide the students to work and study in group), fifth phase (evaluate and give award to the students), the time management aspect got a good criterion with the average score in every phase and aspect, they are 3,23; 3,37; 3,00; 3,00; 3,27; and 2,00. The increased of analytical thinking skills on studens was n-gain score of average 0,64 with the ordinary creterion. The cognitive learning outcomes of the students in the subject material vibrations and waves rached the classical completeness by 80%. The conclusion  was the application of analytical thinking skill gave a great support on the implementation of 5M approach on curriculum 2013 and the it was proven that it could help the students of 8th grade of SMPN 3 Waru Sidoarjo on the subject material vibration and wave.
