KUALITAS INSTRUMEN PENILAIAN LITERASI SAINS MATA PELAJARAN IPA UNTUK PESERTA DIDIK KELAS VII

Abstrak

Penelitian bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kelayakan instrumen penilaian literasi sains pada jenjang kelas VII SMP yang layak secara empiris. Penelitian ini mengacu pada model pengembangan Research and Developmnet (R&D). Instrumen penilaian literasi sains diujicobakan secara terbatas kepada 34 orang peserta didik kelas VII-H SMP Negeri 1 Sidoarjo yang sudah mendapatkan semua materi kelas VII. Instrumen penilaian literasi sains layak secara empiris berdasarkan analisis validitas empiris, reliabilitas, tingkat kesukaran, daya pembeda, dan indeks distraktor. Berdasarkan sedikit kriteria pada kelayakan empiris, maka sebanyak 41% dari keseluruhan soal dinyatakan layak. Dari soal yang telah layak, dapat diketahui profil kemampuan literasi sains peserta didik kelas VII-H SMP Negeri 1 Sidoarjo rata-rata berada di level 3.

Abstract

The study aimed to describe the feasibility of science literacy assessment instrument in grade 7th of junior high school empirically feasible. This study referred to the Research and Development (R & D) development model. The science literacy assessment instrument limitatively tested 34 students in grade 7H of Sidoarjo Junior High School who had studied all of the science material for grade 7th. The science literacy assessment instrument is empirically feasible based on the analysis of empirical validity, reliability, difficulty, distinguishing, and distractor indices. Based on a few criteria on empirical feasibility, 41% of all questions were declared as eligible questions. From the eligible questions, it can be seen that in general the profile of science literacy ability of students in grade 7H of Sidoarjo Junior High School is on level 3.
