PENGARUH MODEL PROBLEM BASED LEARNING TERHADAP PENINGKATAN KETERAMPILAN BERPIKIR KRITIS SISWA KELALS XI IPS DI SMA NEGERI 1 SAMPANG, MADURA

Abstract


21st century education emphasizes critical thinking skills at a high level. This study aims to explain the
effect of problem-based learning models on improving critical thinking skills of students of class XI IPS 1
SMA Negeri 1 Sampang. This type of research uses quantitative descriptive methods, the sample in this
study were students of class XI IPS 1 in SMA Negeri 1 Sampang with a total of 21 students. The final
results that determine the improvement of critical thinking skills can be seen from the results of the test and
see the effect of problem-based learning models on critical thinking using a simple linear regression test
that produces a regression equation Y = 9.328 + 0.828. From this equation, the regression coefficient
value is positive (+) so that the problem-based learning model influences critical thinking. At the
significance value, a simple linear regression test is 0,000 <0.05 while 𝑇𝑐𝑜𝑢𝑛𝑡 is 5.657> 𝑇𝑡𝑎𝑏𝑙𝑒 ie 2.093, 𝐻𝑎
is accepted and 𝐻𝑜 is rejected. In addition, a simple linear regression test gets an R Square of 0.627. So
the effect of independent variables on the dependent variable is 62.7%.
