Abstract




This research aimed to discover the differences of learning motivation and learning achievement on students who use the boarding school system and students who don’t use the boarding school system in SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Gresik. This research study used quantitative comparison approach. Based on the analysis of the results by t-test obtained significant value 0.006 ≤ 0.05 on learning motivation variables it can be reported H0 is reject and Ha is accept with the result that can be differences of learning motivation on students who use the boarding school system and students who don’t use the boarding school system in SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Gresik and significant value 0.001 ≤ 0.05 on learning achievement variables it can be reported H0 is reject and Ha is accepted with the result that can differentiate between learning achievement on students who use the boarding school system and students who don’t use the boarding school system in SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Gresik. Therefore, there are differences of learning motivation and learning achievement between students who use the boarding school system and students who don’t use the boarding school system.
