PENERAPAN SELF-DIRECTED LEARNING BERBASIS GOOGLE CLASSROOM UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR DI SMK NEGERI 2 SURABAYA

Abstrak

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menerapkan metode Self-Directed Learning berbasis Google Classroom untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Rumusan masalah penelitian ini adalah: (1) Apakah penerapan Self-Directed Learning berbasis Google Classroom dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas XI pada mata pelajaran Animasi 2D. (2) Bagaimana respon siswa kelas XI terhadap penerapan Self-Directed Learning berbasis Google Classroom pada mata pelajaran Animasi 2D. (3) Apakah pembelajaran Self-Directed Learning berbasis Google Classroom lebih baik daripada pembelajaran konvensional. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Quasi Eksperimen. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan dua buah kelompok, yaitu kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen. Sasaran penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI Animasi di SMK Negeri 2 Surabaya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Hasil belajar siswa yang menggunakan metode Self-Directed Learning berbasis Google Classroom menunjukkan peningkatan. (2) Respon siswa yang menggunakan metode self-directed Learning berbasis Google Classroom menunjukkan hasil yang cukup baik dengan nilai 68,47%. (3) Penerapan Self-Directed Learning berbasis Google Classroom dibandingkan dengan metode konvensional tidak ada perbedaan signifikan dengan nilai hasil independent sample t test > t tabel dimana t hitung bernilai 0.181 lebih besar dari t tabel yang bernilai 0,05.

Abstract

This research was conducted to apply the Google Classroom-based Self-Directed Learning method to improve student learning outcomes. The formulation of this research problem is: (1) Can the application of Google Classroom-based Self-Directed Learning be able to improve the learning outcomes of class XI students on 2D Animation subjects (2) How is the response of class XI students to the application of Google Classroom-based Self-Directed Learning on 2D Animation subjects. (3) Is Google Classroom-based Self-Directed Learning learning better than conventional learning. The method used in this study is Quasi Experiment. In this study using two groups, namely the control class and the experimental class. The target of this study was students of class XI Animasi at SMK Negeri 2 Surabaya. The results showed that: (1) Learning outcomes of students using the Google Classroom-based Self-Directed Learning method showed improvement. (2) The response of students using the Google Classroom-based self-directed Learning method shows good results with a value of 68.47%. (3) The application of Google Classroom-based Self-Directed Learning compared to conventional methods has no significant difference with the results of the independent sample t test> t table where t count of 0.181 is greater than t table which is worth 0.05.
