PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA MODEL PENAMPANG PADA MATA PELAJARAN IPA SISWA KELAS IV DI MI AL-ITTIHAD KALIANYAR JOGOROTO JOMBANG

Abstract


Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengatasi permasalahan belajar siswa kelas IV pada mata pelajaran IPA di MI AL-ITTIHAD Kalianyar Jogoroto Jombang diantaranya yakni materi pelajaran disampaikan secara lisan berdasarkan LKS, tidak ada media yang digunakan untuk menarik minat siswa dalam proses pembelajaran di kelas. Berdasarkan pengamatan studi pendahuluan dalam proses pembelajaran IPA di MI AL-ITTIHAD Kalianyar Jogoroto Jombang menunjukkan bahwa siswa kelas IV A cenderung bergurau dan tidak memperhatikan guru saat menyampaikan materi pelajaran dikarenakan guru mengajarkan siswa dengan model tradisional. Sehingga ditarik rumusan masalah bahwa “diperlukan pengembangan media tiga dimensi model penampang yang layak dan efektif pada mata pelajaran IPA kelas IV semester I di MI AL-ITTIHAD Kalianyar Jogoroto Jombang”.


Langkah-langkah pengembangan menggunakan Research and Development (R&D) dari model Sugiyono. Subjek uji coba meliputi ahli materi, ahli media, dan siswa kelas IV A. instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan angket tertutup, wawancara terstruktur dan pre-test post-test. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis perhitungan, yaitu modifikasi dari rumus analisis deskriptif.


Data yang diperoleh dari hasil uji coba seluruh subjek, pengembangan media tiga dimensi model penampang memperoleh nilai 78.5 (baik) dan materi yang disajikan didalam media tiga dimensi model penampang memoeroleh nilai 86.2 (sangat baik).


Kajian produk yang dihasilkan pada BAB V menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan media tiga dimensi model penampang sudah layak dan efektif dimanfaatkan guru sebagai sarana atau alat untuk menyampaikan materi didalam kelas.

Abstract


This study aims to overcome the problems of fourth grade students in science subjects in MI Al-Ittihad Kalianyar Jogoroto Jombang such as learning materials is delivered orally by LKS and there are not media which is used to attract the students in the learning process in the classroom.


Based on the observation of preliminary studies in science learning process in MI Al-Ittihad Kalianyar Jogoroto Jombang indicates that fourth grade students tend to joke and do not pay attention to the teacher when delivering course material because the teachers teach students with the traditional model.


Thus, Drawn the problem formulation that "required the development of three-dimensions of cross-model media which is viable and effective in science subjects in the first semester of fourth grade MI AL-Ittihad Kalianyar Jogoroto Jombang".


 


Steps of development use the Research and Development (R & D) by Sugiyono model. The Subject test includes material experts, media experts, and the students of IV A grade.


The data instrument collections use closed questionnaires, structured interviews and pre-test post-test.


The technique of data analysis use calculation analysis, which is a modification from the descriptive formula analysis.


The data which is obtained from the result test of all subjects, the development of three- dimensions of cross-model media  have scored 78.5 (good) and the material presented in the  three-dimensions of cross-model media has scored 86.2 (very good).


The study of the products which is produced in Chapter V shows that the development of three-dimensions of cross-model media is viable and effective that is utilized the teacher as vehicle or tool to convey the material in the classroom.
