PENERAPAN MEDIA AUDIO VISUAL (VIDEO) TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR SERVICE PANJANG FOREHAND PADA BULUTANGKIS

Abstrak

Media audio visual (video) merupakan salah satu metode pengajaran yang dapat digunakan di materi yang akan disampaikan,contohnya materi servis panjang dalam pengajaran bulutangkis. Mengunakan media audio visual (video) kegiatan belajar lebih menarik, kalau hanya mendengarkan penjelasan dari guru saja , tetapi juga melakukan aktivitas lain seperti melihat, mencoba, mempraktekan, dan lain-lain. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dampak dan pengembangan menggunakan media pandang dengar di pembelajaran service panjang forehand pada bulutangkis pada siswa kelas XI IPA 1 SMAN 12 Surabaya. Semua siswa kelas XI IPA 1 SMAN 12 adalah yang di buat penelitian. Di penelitian mengunakan cara cluster random sampling yang diacak tujuh kelas dan terpilihlah salah satunya yaitu kelas XI IPA 1 yang berjumlah 36 siswa siswi. Penelitian ini mengunakan penelitian ekperimen semu, dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Desain penelitian ini memakai One Group Pretest Posttest Design. Perlakuan yang diterapkan yaitu pengajaran service panjang forehand bulutangkis selama 2x pertemuan. Cara pengumpulan data menggunakan tes service panjang forehand yang dilakukan 2 kali yaitu saat tes awal (pretes) dan tes akhir (postest). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata pretest 21,69 sedangkan posttest 25,50. Hasil uji t berpasangan menunjukkan nilai 0,000 yang berarti terdapat perbedaan yang bermakna atau terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan penggunaan media audiovisual (video) terhadap hasil belajar service panjang forehand bulutangkis pada siswa kelas XI IPA 1 SMAN 12 Surabaya. Peningkatan yang dihasilkan dari penerapan media audiovisual (video) terhadap hasil belajar service panjang forehand bulutangkis sebesar 17,5 %.

Abstract

Audiovisual or video is a media which can be used to deliver the materials in the teaching and learning process. In physical education, one of the materials that can be delivered through audiovisual media is long forehand serve in badminton. The utilization of video in the teaching-learning process enables the students not only to listen teachers explanations, but also to do the other learning activities such as observing, executing, and demonstrating. This study aimed to find out the effect of audiovisual media utilization toward students’ long forehand badminton serve learning outcomes. The population of this study was the students of XI Science 1 in SMAN 12 Surabaya. The sample was determined by cluster random sampling technique. The researcher randomly chosen 36 students from XI Science 1 as research samples. This study is a quasi-experimental study which was conducted by using the quantitative approach. Moreover, One Group Pre-test Post-test Design was chosen as the research design and the long forehand badminton serves learning was conducted as a treatment in two meetings. In addition, the data were collected through long forehand badminton service pre-test and post-test. The results of this study showed that the average result of the pre-test was 21.69 while the post-test was 25.50. Moreover, the paired t-test value was 0,000. It means there is a significant effect from the treatment toward the results. The long forehand badminton serve learning outcomes improvement average is 17.5%.
