Abstract


Abstract; Some children with autism have the minimal skill or motor. It is proven by their undirected running in hteir learning process. Teh research problem in this research is whether Lenggang Alit dance can be used to decrease gross motor constraints of autistic children at SDN Banyu Urip V Surabaya. This research aims to prove that Lenggang Alit dance can be used to decrease the gross motor constraints of autistic children at SDN Banyu Urip V Surabaya. The design of this research is single subject research (SSR). One autistic child at SDN Banyu Urip V Surabaya becomes the subject of this research. The data collecting technique is observation. The analysis technique are intra-conditions visual and inter-conditions visual analysis.
The result shows that in the baseline phase gross motor of doing the movements in the Lenggang Alit dance one by one, it becomes 3-10. Based on the intra-conditions visual analysis, it shows that there is a good improvement. Based on the inter conditions visual analysis, there is a significant effect of the actions to the targeted behaviour. Therefore, it can be concluded that Lenggang Alit dance has a positive effect to decrease the autistic children’s gross motor constraints.
