PENGARUH PENGGUNAAN MEDIA ULAR TANGGA TERHADAP KETERAMPILAN MENULIS NARASI SISWA KELAS IV SDN DI KECAMATAN PRAMBON SIDOARJO

Tujun penelitian ini untuk mengetahui adanya pengaruh media ular tangga terhadap keterampilan menulis narasi siswa kelas IV SDN di kecamatan Prambon Sidoarjo. Jenis penelitian menggunakan quasy experiment dengan non-equivalent control group design. Sampel penelitian yaitu siswa kelas IVD SDN Kedungwonokerto sebagai kelas eksperimen dan siswa kelas IVB SDN Wonoplintahan II sebagai kelas kontrol. Hasil penelitian dapat dibuktikan melalui uji hipotesis pretest sebesar 1,72<2,00488 yang menunjukkan tidak adanya perbedaan signifikan antara kelas eksperimen dan kontrol. Sementara itu, hasil posttest sebesar 4,25>2,00488 yang menunjukkan bahwa Ha diterima. Dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh signifikan media ular tangga terhadap menulis narasi siswa kelas IV SDN di Kecamatan Prambon Sidoarjo.

Abstract

This observation aimed to know the effect of using snakes and ladder media for sixth grades student’s creativity while writing narration in Elementary School at Prambon Sidoarjo. As the kind of observation, it used quasy experiment with non-equivalent control group design. Two types of model were shown from sixth grades students of elementary Kedungwonokerto as the experiment group, and the other participants were sixth grades students from Elementary school of Wonopolitan II as the control group. Those result evidenced that the hypothesis 1.72 was bigger than 2.00488, and it showed that there was no significant differences both of experiment group and control group. However, the pretest results shown about 4.25>2.00488, it showed that Ha was accepted. The findings of the observation indicated that there was significant result while using media for writing narration for students in sixth grades Elementary School in Prambon Sidoarjo.
