IMPLEMENTASI PENANAMAN NILAI KARAKTER MELALUI BUDAYA SEKOLAH PADA ANAK KELOMPOK A DI TK ISLAM AL-FAJAR SURABAYA

Penelitian kualitatif deskriptif ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi penanaman nilai karakter melalui budaya sekolah pada anak kelompok A di TK Islam Al-Fajar Surabaya dalam menstimulasi nilai agama moral pada anak. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah kepala sekolah, anak kelompok A, guru kelompok A, dan orangtua anak kelompok A di TK Islam Al-Fajar Surabaya. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan model Miles and Huberman, yakni : reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan penanaman nilai karakterr pada anak dilakukan melalui kegiatan dan budaya sekolah yang ada di TK Islam Al-Fajar Surabaya seperti : 1. anak dibiasakan untuk mengucap syukur dan memiliki sikap peduli terhadap teman dan lingkungan, 2. anak dibiasakan untuk bersikap sopan dan santun, 3. anak dibiasakan untuk mengucap salam, 4. anak dibiasakan untuk mengikuti upacara bendera setiap hari Senin, 5. anak dibiasakan untuk mau mengantri dan dibiasakan untuk mandiri, 6. anak dibiasakan saling menghormati dan menyayangi, 7. anak dibiasakan untuk saling berbagi, 8. anak dibiasakan untuk sholat berjama’ah, 9. anak dibiasakan untuk mengaji dan menghafal surat/do’a pendek, 10. anak dibiasakan untuk bersedekah/infaq pada hari Jum’at. Keseluruhan proses tersebut dapat menstimulasi nilai karakter pada anak sehingga diaharapkan anak memiliki karakter/sikap yang baik hingga dewasa kelak.

Kata Kunci : nilai karakter, budaya sekolah, anak usia dini.

Abstract

This qualitative descriptive research aims to explain the implementation of kindergarten student’s behavior character value through school culture enlightenment of kindergarten students group A in Al Fajar Islamic Kindergarten Surabaya in order to stimuli moral religion value characters to the students. Subjects of this research were the school principal, kindergarten students group A, kindergarten student’s teacher group A and kindergarten student’s parent group A in Al Fajar Islamic Kindergarten Surabaya. The data collection techniques in this research were observation, interview and documentation. The data analysis in this research were using Miles and Huberman model, those were: data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. The results of this research show that the implementation of kindergarten students’ behavior character value were accustomed through: 1. Kindergarten students were accustomed to be grateful and have environment and friends care, 2. Kindergarten students were accustomed to have polite and courteous manner, 3. Kindergarten students were accustomed to say salam 4. Kindergarten students were accustomed to do flag ceremony every Monday, 5. Kindergarten students were accustomed to do queue and to be independent, 6. Kindergarten students were accustomed to respect and love each other, 7. Kindergarten students were accustomed to love sharing toward each other, 8. Kindergarten students were accustomed to pray together, 9. Kindergarten students were accustomed to read al qur’an and memorize prayers/short surah, 10. Kindergarten students were accustomed to donate/infaq in the Friday. All the characters accustomed process could stimuli students’ behavior character value, otherwise kindergarten students are hoped having excellent character/manner behavior until their adulthood.
