PENGARUH LKS IPA TEMA PARFUM KULIT JERUK BERORIENTASI PENDEKATAN SETS TERHADAP PENINGKATAN KETERAMPILAN PROSES SISWA SMP KELAS VII

Pembelajaran IPA dalam kurikulum 2013 mendorong siswa belajar melalui keterlibatan aktif dengan pendekatan ilmiah. Pendekatan ilmiah tidak lain adalah keterampilan proses. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan keterampilan proses siswa setelah pembelajaran menggunakan LKS IPA Tema Parfum Kulit Jeruk yang telah dikembangkansetelah dinilaikelayakannya olehdua orang dosen pendidikan sains, dandua orang guru IPA SMP. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian eksperimen yang diujicobakanpada 15siswakelas VII-J SMPN 28 Surabaya. Metodepengumpulan data yang digunakanyaitumetodeobservasi, angket, dantes.Analisis data hasilpenilaianLKS yang telah dikembangkan dari segi isi, penyajian serta kebahasaan diperolehpersentase kelayakan rata-rata sebesar92%, 94% dan 86%. Maka Lembar Kegiatan Siswa (LKS) yang dikembangkanlayak digunakan dalam pembelajaran untuk mengetahui peningkatan keterampilan proses siswa SMP kelas VII. Keterlaksanaan keterampilan proses siswa dikatakan sudah efektif, diperoleh persentase rata-rata sebesar 73%. Hasil keterampilan proses sains siswa secara klasikal mengalami peningkatan dengan kenaikan sebesar 31% dengan kriteria N-gain sedang (<g>=0,6). ResponsiswaterhadapLKS berdasarkankriteria isi dan penyajian diperolehpersentase rata-rata sebesar97%.Dapat disimpulkan bahwa LKS IPA Tema Parfum Kulit Jeruk tersebut dapatmeningkatkan keterampilan proses siswadanmendapatkanresponpositifdarisiswa serta layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran IPA.

Abstract


Learning of science in the curriculum of 2013 encourages students to learn through active engagement with the scientific approach. That scientific approach is process skills. This research aims to know the increasing process skills after learning with science SAS to main theme Orange Peel Perfume that has been developed and after assessed the feasibility by two lecturers of science study program, and two science teachers of Junior High School. This study is using experimental research and tested on 15 students of class VII - J State Junior High School of Surabaya. Data collection methods used were observations, questionnaires, and tests. Data analysis of the result of validation are from the content, presentation and linguistic obtained an average appropriateness percentage of 92%, 94% and 86%. So that the Science Student Activity Sheet is proper to used in learning science to knows the increasing of process skiils of students. The practices of process skills of student can be said to have been effective, obtained an average percentage of 73%. The results of science process of students skills is increased classically 31% with N-gain medium (<g>=0.6). Responses of students to the SAS depend on the content criteria and the presentation obtained an average percentage 97%. It can be concluded that the Science Student Activity Sheet with Theme Orange Peel Perfume can improve the process skills of the students and get a positive response from students and can be used properly in learning science.
