PENERAPAN PENGAJARAN TERBALIK (RECIPROCAL TEACHING) PADA TEMA PASTA DI SMP ULUL ALB@B KELAS VIII B

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan keterlaksanaan pembelajaran, aktivitas siswa, hasil belajar siswa, dan respon siswa di SMP Ulul Alb@b kelas VIII B pada tema pasta.Jenis penelitian ini adalah pra eksperimen menggunakan satu kelas sebagai subjek penelitian yaitu kelas VIII B sebanyak 26 siswa. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah one group pretest-posttest designInstrumen yang digunakan meliputi instrumen keterlaksanaan pembelajaran, instrumen aktivitas siswa, instrumen hasil belajar siswa, dan angket respon siswa.Hasil pengamatan menunjukkan bahwa keterlaksanaan pengajaran terbalik (reciprocal teaching) pada tema pasta telah dikelola sesuai sintaks dengan kategori sangat baik sebesar 92,5%. Aktivitas siswa yang meliputi kegiatan merangkum, bertanya, mengklarifikasi, dan memprediksi sebesar 53,9% dan tergolong kategori cukup. Kenaikan hasil belajar siswa berdasarkan analisis Gain ternormalisasi 23% dalam kategori tinggi, 65% dalam kategori sedang, dan 12% dalam kategori rendah. Hasil belajar untuk aspek kognitif telah berhasil menuntaskan sebanyak  85% siswa, sedangkan yang tidak tuntas sebesar 15% siswa.  Berdasarkan uji t berpasangan menunjukkan hasil pretest dan posttest  memiliki perbedaan yang signifikan. Karena hasil posttest lebih tinggi dibandingkan hasil pretest sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran pengajaran terbalik (reciprocal teaching) dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar kognitif siswa.Keterampilan kinerja siswa yang diamati melalui aspek psikomotor menunjukkan kategori sangat baik (73%) dan kategori baik (27%), aspek afektif menunjukkan kategori sangat baik (85%) dan kategori baik (15%).Berdasarkan hasil angket diketahui bahwa siswa merespon positif terhadap pembelajaran yang telah berlangsung dengan kriteria sangat baik (86%).

Abstract


This study aims to describe the learning implementation, students’ activity, students' learning achievement, and students’ respond in pasta theme at VIIIth B grade of SMP Ulul Alb@b. This is a pre experimental research, and the researcher chose one class as the subject of the research, that is VIII B class which consists of 26 students. The design of the study is one group pretest-posttest design. Instruments which are used learning implementation instrument, student activity instrument, students’ learning achievement instrument, students’ respond questioner. The finding of the study shows that the implementation of reciprocal teaching in pasta theme was implemented well based on syntax in the category of very good is 92,5%. Student activities such as resumed, asked question, clarified and predicted is 53,9% and included in enough category. The improvement of students’ achievements based on Gain analysis is normalized in 23%, which is categorized high, 65% is fair, and 12% is low.  The cognitive aspect of the learning achievement was succeed in passing % students, while 15% students were unsuccessful. The result of pair t-test shows that pretest and posttest result have significant difference. This is because post test result is higher than pretest result, so that it can be concluded that the implementation of reciprocal teaching in pasta theme could improve students’ learning achievement. The students’ performance in the psychomotor aspect is categorized very good (73%) and good category (27%), and the affective aspect which is in very good category (85%) and good category (15%). Based on the result of questionnaires, known that students respond positively toward the teaching and learning process which the criteria is very good (86%).
